Winning the Grand Challenge is about prestige, more validation, working relationships with Biontech, ISA and Genentech plus exposure to a much wider bio audience. Why are we at 8p? Because of doubts, because of Brexit and the lack of Investors because we are on the AIM market. Winning the GC blows holes in all the doubts because these eminent scientists at CRUK are saying that the extraordinary results in humanised mouse models have a more than credible chance of working in humans and they back it to the tune of £20m. Hi Fstebuyer Anyone who has been a shareholder for the last four years or more must wonder how the hell we got down to 8p.. We have a tried and tested SCIB 1 that works and saves lives but unfortunate for us our scientist have discovered an even more potent platform. This has deflected the resources somewhat plus the unforseen delays. It's only now that this wait is going to pay off for all those still interested in the company. The information that we know or have gleaned from various brilliant posters on this board suggests that we are about to see this technology prove its true worth. The management and the scientist probably share some of your frustration but thier the ones at the coalface making it all happen. Inanco has done his level best to educate just how complex this stuff is and how amazing it is that we have patents in an area that is becoming the next gold rush in the battle against cancer. So a little more patience is all that's needed ... Chester.

Thanks Crumbs, I would have thought we would have had a twelve month update on the Biontech TCR, or an update on the position with the FDA, even a comment on any USA gov shutdown delays. Plus any miscellaneous potential news on The Glycan Mabs. My suspicion is that there will be a news flow post CRUK announcement. Chester

I honestly believe there is a fairly large tention on this share price. The science is real and does work, proven by the remarkable SCIB 1 results. The unforseen causes of the delays are nothing to do with the science but has cast very real doubts. The unfortunate effect of bolstering the working capital at a price of 10p just as we topped out at 19.6p caused more doubt. Brexit causes even more doubt..... All this price tention means that once that doubt is undermined only slightly (like the Grand Challenge win next week), the breaks will come off here in a hurry. The current price is probably at a 50 or 100% discount just on the GC win. Chester

I understand that being ultra positive about Project Blueprint's success in the Grand Challenge can be viewed as total hype, but..... Is CRUK a serious and credible fighter of cancer.. Answer obviously Yes. So why would they lead on a team of major companies whose sole purpose is to fight / irradicate cancer. CRUK have already championed the development of SCIB 2 so why would they reject MODI 3. I just can't see them saying 'well done guys but it's a no, we're giving the money to an AI team' 'carry on the good work' It's not happening.....

I had to be corrected in the recent past because I didn't realise how spread out our share holder base is. There must be many shareholders who do not appreciate this complex science and just don't see the true value that is coming over the next few months. Also, it beggers belief that anyone would sell so close to a very real possibility that the price will re-rate. Let's just see how we all feel at 00.01am on Wed 23rd. Can't wait for those conversations........

Leas said it perfectly. Timing is the most difficult proposition when buying shares. Anyone who buys Scancell today will wonder what all the fuss was about when it moves up rapidly on the expected Grand Challenge news. They'll think "this share buying / profit making is easy". An important point, the calibre of the scientists involved in PBP do not have time to waste on maybe's. To actually be as deep in as they are means they must be convinced the project is happening. Chester...

Morning Ray. Your 17.59 last night I was out so couldn't respond. No I don't think it's a 'put up job' and I do realise your comment had an element of tongue in cheek. But we were well into talks with CRUK about SCIB 2 probably 2 years ago now, so the idea of putting together a team to tackle the 'Cancer Vaccine' Challenge with Modi 3 may very well have come about due to the various talks and meetings with CRUK at that time. My conclusion is that this led to talks with Biontech, through to Genentech and right in the mix was ISA Pharmaceuticals. It's not much of a leap to see how it coaleased from all of those contacts. As you can tell I'm pretty much convinced that the full criteria of the challenge will have been met. Chester

Reading the veriety of posts on the subject of the Grand Challenge I have come to the conclusion that it's a gold plated certainty that PBP will be awarded the £20m investment and here's why. 1) CRUK have already validated the technology taking on SCIB 2 development. 2) The Prestige of the Team. Scancell, Genentech, Biontech and ISA Pharmaceutical. 3) The Calibre of the scientist willing and wanting to be associated with the project. 4) Biontech's enthusiasm has not diminished and now seem to be interested in Modi 2. Finally : This is a massively serious bid on a challenge that was put down by CRUK last year and not taken up. To me PBP may have come about by CRUK asking LD if she fancied the task. As always this is just my opinion but after much thought. ATB Chester.
