Yes, it looks like this really could be the end but of course, we must await official confirmation before we can enjoy peace in Europe once again.

First & Foremost , our thoughts must go to all the soldiers on both sides, who gave their lives for their political leaders ambitions.

Of Course, Foreign companies operating in Russia will be in a much better place when peace is agreed & naturally Eua will be one of those beneficiaries .

I agree its not fair on the Ukrainian's Offler and I don't agree with what Russia has done but what's happened has happened and we are where we are !

The poor Palastinians had it much worse, having Genocide & Starvation used against 10s of thousands of innocent woman & children by the Israeli occupiers but they still had to make a peace deal, grossly unfair as it was and Ukraine must also, at some point,make a peace deal with their more powerful occupier as there's as much chance of Ukraine taking Moscow as recovering the 4 lost regions but not only that, rather than recovering lost land, they are actually losing even more land everyday so like The poor Palastinians its probably best to make a deal , if only to save as much of your country as possible before the Orcs claim even more of it !

To reignite peace talks and bring an end to the war and so he should, Europe does not want to keep pumping hundreds of Billions into Ukraine to continue a war that they simply cannot win. Its pointless and the only result of these hundreds of Billions is hundreds of thousands of dead & injured bodies.

So yes, Zelensky needs to get a peace deal done !

According to the Kremlin, naturally with all the usual Russian T&Cs attached so I can't see Trump giving them the time of day until they are interested in genuine negotiations with some concessions on their maximalist terms.

Ukraine has just signed up for 100 French Rafale fighter jets and they're getting another 150 plus state of the art Fighters from Saab, this is serious kit & combined with all the European funds to arm Ukraine will present a serious thorn in Russia's side.

Russia will be bled dry continuing this war with all the associated costs & sanctions, whereas Ukraine is funded by some of the wealthiest countries in the world, who's deep pockets dwarf that of Moscows so its no wonder there are numerous voicing of peace talks coming out of the Kremiln.

Sure, the Russians are winning on the battlefield but the economic cost is crippling them so It seems they are genuinely now seeking a path to peace although being Russian, they will still play hardball on all negotiations and give as little as possible to Ukraine whilst demanding maximalist terms but they are not actually in a good place with their shrinking economy, which is heading towards recession, high inflation & high interests rates.

They are now paying such a unacceptably high price for their invasion that they are actively seeking peace and must now surely present acceptable terms to Ukraine otherwise their economy will be trashed , which would be counter-productive and an unacceptable price to pay for a chunk of Ukraine.

Ukraine may be going into any negotiations on the back foot but the Europeans are going to make sure that although they can never match Russian military might, they can nevertheless pack a heavy punch and command respect from their adversary !

Yes, E101, Having not seen any other sources to confirm/authenticate this article, I actually think its old news from earlier meetings somehow reposted as there was no date on the article, it just stated it was 4hrs old @ 10am this morning .

So its clearly some kind of error.

The article came up on my newsfeed around 10 this morning from mezha.net stating that its 4hrs old but I haven't seen it posted anywhere else so cannot confirm its official or correct.

Perhaps there has been some breakthrough in the behind the scenes talks otherwise it would be pointless to meet as both sides have repeatedly stated before.

So its a positive step but of course, no one will wo be getting overly excited as we've been here before more than once but the war will have to end at some point as Russia/US & Europe have little desire to continue throwing endless hundreds of millions into the meat grinder.

Let's hope peace wins this time.

I saw the article from the Finish President and he's a highly intelligent man so I 100% agree there are indeed important discussions going on behind the scenes and I expect we shall hear something in the coming weeks but as for the G20, nothing.

The US will not even send a representative so its a non starter for me.

However, as said, I do think something will materialise over the coming weeks but whether that leads to peace or another dead end is difficult to say after all the false dawns.

Yes, it seems hitting Putin where it really hurts has brought him to the negotiating table but there can be no Chickens Counted until after a succesful Trump/Putin summit although this is undeniably a positive move by the Russians.

This suggests behind the scenes talks have made some progress on peace otherwise there would be no meeting between the two.

Its sounds like positive news alongside Trump & Orban saying it could end soon when they met this weekend to discuss oil sanctions & Ukraine issues, Hungry is still expected to host peace talks.

I expect we shall hear that a meeting between Lavrov & Rubio will be announced soon to pave the way & prepare for the Trump/Putin summit.

Hopefully we get an end to this war by the end of the year !

So its only a matter of time now, both Ukraine & Russia are on the path to peace now and Ukraine are drafting terms with its Allies.

A little more patience required whilst both parties negotiate the best terms possible for their respective countries and then we get our reward 💰

This is very good news, the Russians have never said they are near a settlement at any time in the last 3.5 years, they rarely say anything on peace other than reiterating their same old maximalist terms, which they know leads them nowhere so its great to hear a High Ranking Russian saying we are now near a settlement and I would take his words seriously !

Yes Steve, the Market Makers sell the shares to Steve & everyone else. They also buy our shares from us when we want to sell them.

They will have a share float and then rise/drop prices in accordance with the amount of buying & selling

Then LSE/Advfn / and all the other financial sites make a calculated guess as to whether the trade was a buy or sell, mostly they guess right but sometimes their guess is wrong as was the case this morning with yours.

The upshot is, posted trades cannot be considered correct as they are all guesses.

Market Makers never state what was a buy & what was a sell, they simply post the transaction as a trade at the time & price it occurred.

There is always going to be volatility now Eua is a 'hot' stock with the upcoming summit & prospect for peace, which will transform the companies prospects & multi-bag the shareprice.

So we can expect some volatility both ways although the trend will be up leading up to the Trump/Putin summit as speculators take positions.

This morning's pullback is just traders scalping their profit, which is all part and parcel of investing. Personally, I'm in for Peace & much larger gains but each to their own and if traders want to scalp, thats fine by me.

I won't be selling any of my shares until Eua is in double figures after peace has been agreed 💰
