Are you really going to argue about the "actual" meaning of dilution, vs the "real effects" on future share price?
First question. Do you know what happens to our EPS if our strat partners get a cut of profit? Yes that's right... it reduces our EPS.
Oh hang on... share prices re rate to the EPS over the long term? Yes that's right.
Ok next. Hybrid debt, the most common is any type of convertible, but this can include prefs. So both types are dilutive on share of future profits. To suggest anything else is at best, a lack of understanding and at worst, dishonest.
This is speculative project until the fat lady of 10mtpa production sings. Any delay in construction will be severely damaging.
