Bit harsh buddy, as did every other country, and even the stock markets appear not to have seen this coming back at that point.

Then again, we will probably never know how much preperation was going on behind the scenes in an attempt not to cause panic. So anyones guess as to what preperations have been taken in the last couple of months. It is an evolving situation, but those figures from Italy are pretty frightening. I think for me I am looking at what we can do know to minimalise risk, rather than proportion blame.

Just seen the number of people infected in Spain, has doubled overnight, not sure what the figure was to start with.

What does ease my concerns is that scientists across the globe must be learning so much on a daily basis, but even reading here today where there have been some really good posts, it has to get far worse as a certain number of people have to be infected before it burns itself out.

Given this is an airborne virus, for those of us self isolating, shouldn"t all windows be closed??

Remarkable, so many aisles were empty, but I did get the last pack of 16 toilet rolls, Andrex too. Thank G_d for small mercies!!!

Apoogies, that seemed to post itself, but tomorrow I will share just a few comments made and accusations laid.

Not too bothered about whatever they say, Ivy, TF , Lozan, Tosh and ONW but when i get malicious e-mails TF well you have certainly ignited my fire and crossed a fine line, all toget their approval.. Wouldn"t have been so bad had you just have ignored me which I have asked for years, but this is not acceptable. Not particularly interested in the comments today either, stay in if you are vulnerable and wait for news from the Government. Simple.

To hear so much from the ADVFN BB. I am currently going through an appalling list of posts from all your favourites there askig TF to disclose more about me in ref to a row some two weeks ago, and TF posting bits of e-mails I have privately sent to him making out he has something on me, and also being in receipt of a menacing e-mail from TF himself.

And all the while TF keeps posting to me GL C7 , I agree c7 etc etc.

Getting pretty fed up with the moral stance the ADVFN posters take here, and Bermuda can you tell me you are dissacciated with the postsb going on under your nose!!!

Interesting that 55% f the country thinks BJ is handing this well, 30% don"t and 15% aren"t sure. A figure I believe will get stronger as each day unravels and new measures are introduced. Mass gathering and sports events cancelled, and I wonder how many people have considered that one of the main reasons for this is to relieve the pressures on both the police and medical support needed to hold such events.

I have been critical of Sky News this week, but seems they have changed the manner in which they are reporting this, basically discussing the thinking behind each action and the order of what rolls out, with less time being given to those intent on sabotaging the manner in which they are making their decisions and why. People need consistancy and the outcome of a few hours debate was we must wash our hands more often, and carry on as normal as possible, and I would suggest thinking of others who need help in simply getting by.

I am choosing not to get involved in the tittle tattle of other countries in Europe,it just deflects from what we must do, and I will save that for when I have a better handle of what I must do.

Seems just like yesterday we heard the first of the virus in Wuhan, but the first case was announced in November last year, and whilst the stock market is not my niggest concern, I just don"t understand the repercussions as well as I should, I just wonder whether the news many have expected involving the SCIB1 trial,has been put on hold for a while whilst this virus develops. This doesn"t just affect us and we have seen a big fall in our M/Cap since.

So getting ready for my shopping trip, cleared a couple of cupboards and an opportunity to replenish all the items I have run low on, taking rattys advise as to alcohol stocks, and I don"t really drink anymore. Might as well behave as it is Xmas, it is lucky I have Sky and Netflix. Hoping everyone can prepare as best you can, keep safe and again I just can"t imagine the pressures for those with businesses and families, certainly a worrying time, I wish you all the best x
