RE: Having stated Co cash flow7 Mar 2020 18:00
Sorry bout that, the post seemed to post itself, lol. Surely too the Directors would have been buying shares in the company, correct me but I think they only did when they had to to get a Placing away.
Not really much point in saying who said what at any time, there were a couple of points where I thought I had called it very wrong. The first was the rise to the 70s, when the company then issued ""no reason for"" and the last time around Xmas, was it 3 years ago now?? when the share flew from the low 1s to about 7p. The BB was buzzing, much talk of going commercial within weeks and I guess we all learnt a lot from those that were just here for a pump. If we all haven"t learnt a lot from this, we are all much the wiser as to what is posted, where it comes from and to what end.
Freddie, good post too and thanks for the explanation about Satu. Not sure I still agree with you but TBH i do not have a clue about her, nor her career, but she is equally to blame for what has occured here, she would have known clearly how much further they had to go in trials, how few 3rd party validations the company had received, and the biggest thing I would like to know, which rang big alarm bells to me, was why Tom Winnifrith suddenly about four years ago stopped making any detrimental comments about VAL when he had been viciously on there backs for so long. Was he part of the volatility that the share had at times? I hope in time if the company is investigated that that will become clearer. He is not my favourite by a long long way.
Easy to say for me, but surely the Ombudsman or those who monitor the conduct of Directors in AIM quoted companies are more than familiar with all you guys say?? I just do not understand why (and this goes further than just VAL) at certain times a company cannot have their shares suspended from trading, if alarm bells are ringing as loudly as they were here. Surely a few meetings of a review commitee could then demand an explanation from the Directors as to what has unravelled here, and if satisfied then simply allow the share to be traded again if they pass scrutiny?? I am afraid with the way things seem to stand I will be in a very large number of people who have no intention of ever putting anymore cash into this Casino.
GL Freddie.
