I totally agree JAdam....I also highly doubt that a government backed consortium partner would expect more money from private investors to fund further scale-up operations, having done it once already.

Absolutely right Pilgrim.....furthermore, i think a lot of folk are underestimating just how much work goes into producing something like this and making it 'manufacturable'. I work in tech and our business is working with some private companies involved in COVID-19 testing......much more technically advanced than a finger prick test, but still......designing, gaining approval and ramping up production on a new test to detect a new virus is incredibly time consuming and will no doubt have some bumps along the way. I have no doubt that if the government could deliver one of these tests to everyone tomorrow, they would do.

Absolutely MB....I've been reading through some of the posts from the last few days, covering recent RNS'.....and whilst i'm fully behind ODX and a LTH, the recent RNS' are nothing new in terms of what we and the market are already privy to. The timelines were mapped out a couple of months ago, at which point the SP rose.....the latest RNS' are to confirm that those milestones, already scheduled by ODX, have been met. I think people here need to realise that and only upon hard commercial data will the SP rise significantly from here.

It's also likely not moving a great deal because essentially, the company is re-affirming information that is already known to the market on approvals...these milestones were already mapped out a few months ago, so the RNS is just to update that the milestone has been met. Significant price rises will come from ORDERS for the tests at X quantities and X price.....NOT, imo, via regulatory approval updates.

I'm amazed people continue to set themselves up for it MIK.....we all want to see the SP rocket, but sticking necks out and putting exact numbers on things is just foolish imo - one way ticket to zero credibility on this board and FAST!

It is bizarre for sure Val!.....everyone is entitled to make their own decisions, but I'm sure this board aren't interested in the accompanying novellas from investors that should just be jettisoning their holdings and moving on to something else.

I've always thought the decision to just announce an exit to these chat threads in a seeming cloud of negativity to be strange one....why not just sell and sail away to the next share? Why the need to create a furore by announcing it to everyone?

Truth, asking someone that question on these boards is high risk.....especially as we have absolutely zero control over the market or indeed the company...you will only get answers that fit in with individuals' own agendas and target SP's. A 50p SP is circa 650% on today's, so a massive increase if it was to get there; not impossible of course, but the key is in the wording.....it's a target, not a certainty.

We all still need to remember that a lot of these companies that have orders from government and other bodies, already have the technology there with their core products/instruments and are just re-calibrating to be able to test for COVID...the RTC was formed a few months ago to create something pretty much from scratch and if anyone knows anything about designing medical products for POC treatment/testing, it's not an overnight job...if anyone knows the story of Theranos, testing in the medical arena is massively high risk and products have to be absolutely nailed on before they are signed off by regulatory bodies and manufactured in volume.

Our day will come and patience will be rewarded, of that I've no doubt.
