Morning all....the performance of the SP over the last few days notwithstanding, I don't trust anything in the media (especially left wing media when a right wing government is the incumbent).

Secondly, i think we're all underestimating the consortium and Abingdon if they're just going to finish on the first iteration of this, throw their hands in the air and claim 'well, we had a good go didn't we, never mind'. There will absolutely be further R&D going on in the background, so IF the accuracy isn't as good as initially advised, I'm sure it will get there.

Thirdly, have we all forgotten the Mologic partnership?

Fourthly, if you really are here for quick few quid....perhaps the slots may be a better option.

Absolutely DOOM....the 90% efficacy of the vaccine notwithstanding, the 10% is still very, very important in the overall control of the pandemic and that's where antibody testing comes in. Most of us can still see the potential here...

Hope everyone's still doing ok amidst the recent turbulence...

In my experience, nothing that happens off the back of emotion or sentiment is ever long-lasting (market reaction and the SP Drop); fully expect the same here. COVID testing will be here for many years to come and ODX still remain a key component to delivering the long term strategy.

Love it Phimx....we really should know better, i invested the last time this bounced rapidly and the same thing is happening again.....>150% rise and then it all disappears in a matter of days.

My only concern is the infrastructure behind the LFT and how the general public are acting, upon completion of a self-test and positive result, let's say. I saw some rather alarming figures on just how many people aren't self-isolating, despite being asked to....Of the people asked to SI, only 18% actually did, which kind of renders LFT pretty useless. Here's hoping not though.

Huge overreaction today both in the market and on here. It's a set of results that everyone was expecting, surely? They've only just got an order from the Government for the antibody tests, so fully expect the next half's results to be much more robust.

Powder is being kept well and truly dry from my perspective.

I wouldn't be too concerned at the SP movement today and on the back of the previous one citing government orders; we all knew these were coming and the SP reflected that prior to the RNS'. It'll be very interesting to see what happens when the non-government orders are announced!

Absolutely MB, this is most definitely just the start.....i don't see how you can get an accurate picture of where the virus has spread by only antibody testing 1/70th of the UK population, so there will be many more orders to come.

I totally agree Bantu....I must admit, i have top-sliced a little since investing back in April too, but still maintain a good holding. I believe ODX is also a long term play, a vaccine notwithstanding. Testing for COVID is going to be required for a long, long time to come....antigen to determine who has it and who needs isolating and antibody to determine not only who has had it, but who is responding/not responding to the vaccine...

The vaccine(s) are going to be in tremendous demand so if you can test on mass to determine who has built up antibodies/who hasn't/who needs a booster....then happy days, you can prioritise. MB's said it, Jadam's said it.....a tremendous long term play on the cards here.

Can anyone recommend another decent broker? I'm going to look at transferring my investments away from HL...

Preferably a broker that is able to provide the basic requirements any PI would need......live pricing and trade information. I don't think i'm asking for much!
