Agree with everything here, shareholder value has been eroded day by day for the last 12 months. Wish you all the best too, Flashy. I am not bailing, only because i refuse to sell at a loss....doesn't make the situation any more palatable though and the BoD need to seriously consider ongoing strategy to increase shareholder confidence and engagement.
Hi Anthony, if you're referring to me as newbie, it may be a little off the mark...I've had a holding since the beginning of 2020 and posted on here intermittently between now and then. I agree, buys outweighing sells is a good sign, but i'll still likely not see my average back anytime soon, much like many other LTHs.
I would tend to agree with the sentiment, though….it has been a fiasco and shows no signs of recovering. The tweeting to opposition politicians is, in my opinion, a desperate attempt to claw back the situation. I am pretty much resigned to never getting back up to pari passu on my investment and will be looking for the earliest feasible opportunity to exit
It's a New Year, but still the same old ODX eroding shareholder value day by day....as the government still struggles with LFT capacity. An absolute shambles from all involved.
You realise he’s probably referring to Flowflex, right?
ODX drops even further…. Classic
It’s a nice thought, but unfortunately for us…the US will buy precisely 0 ODX manufactured tests
Do you honestly believe that there aren’t companies in America making hundreds of millions of these already?
It really is staggering that ODX still haven’t managed to sell any and the DHSC have cancelled a contract and pulled out machinery during a manufacturing deficit of LFT’s….absolutely laughable really
It's genuinely astounding that a company with a gold standard LFT, during a pandemic, with a shortage of LFT's....hasn't been able to get approval for self-test and actually sell any in commercial volume. I don't know about others, but I've been holding here since April 2020 and you wonder if they haven't sold anything significant by now, will they ever.
I just don’t understand, as a business, why you’d allow an organisation to take up all of your time operationally, to increase your losses….seems absolutely crazy from the BoD, to me.
If it’s all coming together…Where are the orders then, Okehurst?
Here's hoping the gov actually act this time, as I'm sure they were threatening this sort of action months ago...
You forgot the most important bit.....
No sales.
Unfortunately, by definition, this sort of remark is also 'trolling'....the irony. As LTH's, we are allowed to form and present an honest appraisal of where we believe the company to be at and the majority of LTH's are likely concerned at the free-falling SP and evident lack of sales. I've said all along that capacity means nothing if you're not actually selling/manufacturing anything. I sincerely hope the current trend is reversed, but it does seem a little like we're all straightening the deckchairs on the Titanic at the moment...

It won’t sabotage my investment, it’s just a view I have on the status quo…their main hopes were on this £374m order from the government, which has seemingly drifted into nothingness. As a lth, I’m also entitled to an honest appraisal too…
I have to agree, Gary and Crober, I’m also a long term holder and have genuine doubts now that this golden goose may never lay any eggs…nearly the entire English population vaccinated, and no mandate for LFT on mass. I would love for the company to update on genuine sales channel opportunities, but I guess they haven’t done because there likely aren’t any.
But they’re still manufactured in China…..just how many Chinese tests are our government still buying?!
Me too, would be excellent...
What CK needs to be very clear on at the investor presentation is exactly the scope of LFT ongoing...because I’m not seeing many scenarios whereby it’ll actually be required right now. Travel is going to be based purely on double vaccination is it not? I’ve been invested since April last year here, but we do need clarity, post pandemic, which is essentially July 19th....on just how much mass testing is going to be needed.
Quite, Gary....it does feel like that at the moment. I've been holding here since April last year and it's been a pretty frustrating ride to say the least, lots of promise and lots of rampers coming and going.
If I'm right in recalling, the SP is now below the levels that CK himself bought a big tranche last year, so i'm sure this will be frustrating him too.
For me, I'm just focusing mainly on the recruitment right now as i cannot see how a business can frivolously hire so many people without good reason.
Still here, still holding, still (kinda) optimistic.
