Rewind a week or two.....some posters in here absolutely blowing loads over Abbott and Roche.......I liken them to Jim Levenstein over Nadia - these investors will be unloading all over Roche and Abbott and be off into the Wilderness, whilst the rest of us will be crafting our ideal relationship, the one the gives us sustainable satisfaction, eternal happiness.....our Michelle Flaherty, our.......ODX

If you're unhappy at the current SP, frustrated at the 'lack of progress' or have your life savings in here that you can't risk losing........SELL.

If, like the rest of us, you've done your research, are patient, aren't concerned at small % swings up or down and understand the GLOBAL market potential of antibody testing......then either top up your holdings or hold.

Len, we're all still here....just watching the mentalists lose their heads. I too haven't posted in a while, but still remain fully invested here. What also makes me laugh, is that various folk have consistently been posting about potential news for weeks, it's laughable really.....just to get the hooks of other investors and spark a bit of interest. Most sensible people here aren't jumping in and out of the share because some unknown posts with the headline 'News Tonight' or 'Impending RNS'....we've seen these predictions fall very much flat on their own faces.

Piper, Valhalla and a few others....all legitimate posters with common, informed knowledge and more importantly.....patience.

Do we think the SP is being held at the moment? Couple of cracking updates in as many weeks, but with limited movement north

Just dropping one more puzzle piece into the mix...

In lieu of the impending economic doom in the UK, do we not think it's in the government's interest to have a UK based consortium design, produce and scale a reliable antibody test that can then be sold globally?! UK economy on its knees likely...QE gradually de-valuing the £......export more likely........UK RTC present an antibody solution that's bought from all over the globe.....

Good to see Ferrari back btw, encouraged me to keep posting as i know he's also been a fellow champion of this company.

Quickly realised that there is little to no chance of engaging in sensible conversation on these boards...especially this morning, where it seems we've got more weaselly characters surfacing. Good luck to all the genuine longer term holders here and hopefully we'll be toasting a few glasses in the time to come.

Still holding here, but i'd rather engage with folk on my own level of intellect.

Well done to those of us remaining calm and staying away from the mindless furore...

To close over 11 points up, on a mostly red day across all markets, is fantastic IMO, especially after being nearly 10 points down at one point. Here's hoping it gives us a decent bit of momentum over the coming days and weeks.

To remind all -
- Deal with Mologic to produce 46,000 tests per day
- Separate deal as part of the GOVERNMENT BACKED RTC, looking to produce POC lateral flow testing
- Scale up and expansion of their existing manufacturing site up in Scotland
- Positive updates from the company themselves on the progress they're making
- Deals in place away from COVID-related activity
- Strong financial position for a pharma biz

We've tried to explain the 'keep your powder dry', 'be patient', 'look at the fundamentals', 'do your research'......some people just don't listen.

Indeed Duble....that tweet has absolutely zero relevance to this share, it's simply Abingdon showing how the POC lateral flow test works.

It looks as though you're well past needing reassurance...

I would brew a pot of chamomile tea, prepare a couple of biscuits, get all the recent RNS' together for ODX, plus the market info on antibody testing and potential requirements and have a good read in isolation.

I have just submitted my details to FRP and hope to see a response soon. I had a decent chunk in Koovs and it would be a delightful result to see some compensatory damages returned to loyal shareholders, who truly believe the lies that emanated from Koovs and Waheed Alli.

Amen Dibs......the volume of people that just copy and paste the first link they find in google, or get an alert that another company is also looking to produce antibody testing and c**p themselves, or speculate on ODX's cash position, remark on their existing market and operating margins.....it's a chuckle a minute and all without doing an iota of background research into the FACTS.

The negativity on this board all of a sudden is astounding...

Did people expect the SP just to keep rising and rising on no news? If yes, you should not be permitted to invest your hard earned
If you haven't got the nous to continue researching the companies you're invested in? Again, shouldn't be investing...
If you're believing everything you read on LSE chat sites? Again, shouldn't be investing...

There is little point in calling people out in an online chat forum; keep researching, keep calm and be patient. We said before, NCYT went from well over £1 down to 60p in a few days, before rocketing to £5 on further news. It's possible...

As folk get closer to their weighted averages, naturally they're going to become twitchy.....but it's incumbent on others to pick those out and, if you want to believe people on here, pick the ones that appear sensible.

I don't believe there has been a delay, because a time frame for design freeze was never given...i guess it's just one of those things....it'll take as long as it'll take.

Exactly my point from earlier Mobile....others are weeks behind the 'already in place' ODX/Mologic deal and the ODX/RTC deal...

@Eva, apologies....I did you question earlier about the ORPH differentials, but i do have a day job, which takes precedence unfortunately :)

Fundamentally, they both do the same thing...but there's more info on the Quotient website if you need it. Focus has to be on ODX here imo.

In my opinion...

The ODX involvement in all of this was confirmed weeks ago....what makes folk think that these latest announcements have just kiboshed everything ODX has been working towards? There is never just a single player in any market, let alone one with such focus and urgency.....it's called spreading risk. ODX are still big players here, patience will still reward imho.

It absolutely is....and the government have always maintained, governments across the world too, that defeating COVID will be a team effort, hence the consortium. As far as it looks, it's a large market space with room for multiple operators to be successful.

Wow.....it looks like a serious number of folk on here have over-indulged on the booze over the weekend and are now suffering from a bit of 'hangxiety'...

Nothing's changed here; just because ORPH have released a cracking RNS re antibody testing, doesn't mean that ODX are finished. I'm also in ORPH and Bandwagon's been ramping them up on the chat board this morning, so pleased to see his comment below has seemingly been removed, have some integrity at least.

The Mologic deal still stands and the RTC is still going strong, with the latter working towards a HOME BASED test. This virus isn't going away any time soon and we've existing modelling in other countries whereby restrictions have been lifted and the R is back over 1....so bide your time, keep educating on the company you've invested in and keep your powder dry.

I would tend to agree though Woodstock....some of us here are only interested in factual, educated debate and aren't interested in it being diluted by speculation. I will definitely be taking up your suggestion on a beer in the garden later this afternoon though......enjoy!
