Well I beat Gangfeng to it and bought back in here at 47p thanks to those sellers!

I agree that SAV has disappointed in the past and probably suffers from hard-bitten investors being wary of that. However that shouldn’t cloud the outlook and the GALP announcement has been the turning point for me. That said there is every reason to back other Li horses such as EMH, ZNWD, BCN etc if you can get in at the right price. I top-sliced EMH this morning as I was 200% up and bought into BCN after the fundraise dip as they are now funded to production. ZNWD is widely considered to be undervalued. SAV is my core holding and I am averaging 4.0p but expecting big things this year. I somehow doubt that you will get your sub-4p buy-in point as we seem to have bounced again but who knows? Buying at 4-5p given the outlook seems a reasonable trade to me.

This Luxembourg fund manager has made an investment in EMH which seems to have played well in the markets. Perhaps one for DA to court if further funds are required in future?

You seem to blow hot and cold on SAV BSMA? I note what you posted on Lloyds BB a few weeks ago - “ Have a look at SAV in the lithium mining sector. I feel the next few weeks are probably the final opportunity to pick up SAV shares at undervalued prices. There are several issues about to resolve in the short term. These include the outcome of the MdB environmental study and the publication of Portugal’s lithium strategy at the end of March and further clarification of the SAV/GALP/ Northvolt partnership via a JV or similar. It’s possible they might all be announced at the same time so that the Portuguese government gets the credit for joined-up thinking?
Progress on Moz will be sure and steady but I’m not banking on seeing an outcome on the feasibility study for several months yet. When it happens it should add considerable value as our share of the project increases substantially. In addition to this there is always the possibility of something unexpected happening.
Until the first news arrives, we might drop a bit further but anything on offer under 4p would be absurdly cheap given the arrangement announced already with GALP.

Every single mining share in my portfolio was down yesterday and today so don’t think it’s about SAV. Corrections can arise at anytime and present an opportunity to top up if you have wisely kept some cash on the side.

......and hopefully with a very generous package of support from the EU to transition from oil to lithium.

The big difference in my mind is the wider pool of investors’ cash available to Piedmont via US listing plus of course the headline publicity of an off take deal with Tesla rather than GALP (who?). Let’s hope the board meeting went well!

He promised to take it to the board meeting tomorrow which is better than an outright no? The valuation gap to EMH was accepted and perhaps envied. With DAs options about to expire he may well be open to suggestions such as this for a turbo-boost to the SP to trigger his allowance?
