Most junior lithium shares up a similar amount today although SAV has done a bit better. Plenty of potential to excel in 2021 as long as the Portuguese authorities don’t wobble. All the best to all posters for the new year!

All I can say is that ZNWD ( lithium, Germany) is also up (20.74% today). No other share to confuse them with. I would guess that money is going into lithium and those that have been rather overlooked to date such as ZNWD and SAV may be seen as bargains? EMH has done well already thanks to publicity ( up over 200% since I invested in October). BCN up 150% in the last 3 months and 12% today so we are riding the wave at last.

Seems to be more transactions than normal. Maybe people off work with time on their hands to trade? It’s not just SAV. Zinnwald is up a similar amount so people are buying into the lithium story in addition to the overall post Brexit deal uplift. No specific news from SAV but happy to ride the wave!

According to Proactive on 24th December, DA is now forecasting “in the coming weeks”.

So all we actually know for sure is the oil refinery is closing. The rest is still pure speculation so it’s back to “if and when”. Sounds like the decision to build a lithium refinery may depend on the outcome of the Portuguese lithium mining licence tenders next year? Frankly if they were to partner up with Gangfeng who have spodumene refining expertise, they would get the refinery built quicker but I shudder at the thought!

Just debating the risks in a sensible manner rather than speculating on news that never materialises. Good to see the price rising. I still have 4m so enjoying the rise but I won’t be putting any more money in SAV whatever the price. There are better prospects elsewhere in companies that actually deliver on expectations

So that covers off the “”if”. The question is now “when” and if it’s several years away, whether it will delay SAV’s ambitions?

No point even guessing at dates for the DFS completion but it needs to be delivered in 2021 if Our CEO is to maintain any credibility.
Next milestone is the issue of a “declaration of conformity” on the environmental plan, due tomorrow according to the November RNS update. That will be followed by 60 days public consultation.
As far as late reported trades, not my speciality, but I noticed a lot of big sells today, so maybe not much confidence in meeting this deadline? By contrast, other lithium juniors like EMH and Zinnwald were up by up to 8%.
I believe in the lithium story but have moved some of my eggs into other baskets which has proved to be more profitable in recent months.

Something that caught my 360 degree vision was the rebirth of Apple’s EV ambitions. And why not? They are already experts at slipping lithium batteries in a streamlined body containing electronics and, erm, a screen so adding wheels shouldn’t be too difficult? Add flic-flac paint and hey presto! Another deep-pocketed corporate needing to secure a supply chain?

I think that issue has been overcome by offering to resettle the snakes! Other problems have been UXBs and the amount of water to be consumed by the factory. Nothing seems to stop Musk however. We could do with some of his drive on the SAV BOD perhaps?

Can’t see that the “ mining third party to the tender” could be anyone other than SAV, therefore when the “may be” becomes “is”, and the refinery is confirmed, it’s a clear route to market for SAV.

Due by 24th December on a 20- day count from the last announcement on MdB progress. I forecast the chances of it happening at 50% i.e. it may happen or not!

Managed to get £5k at 3.5p so happy with that trade!

In spite of the price drop I can’t get a quote to buy at the moment - only accepting limit orders. Don’t see these prices hanging around for long.

Yep, ZNWD has a lot of advantages as Germany is the EU EV hub. It’s all about zero carbon production using green energy and short distances from mine-refinery-battery maker-Auto maker. VW live this philosophy and with the VW ID plant in Zwickau, it’s not difficult to join the dots....
