That information isn't much more detailed than I've been getting when I've contacted the company. You certainly couldn't RNS it as nothing concrete or definitive, unless an RNS intended as a general letter updating about where we are. But them folks would be complaining it was a nothing RNS and we'd probably drop a further 20%

Still, I guess we could ask PREM to RNS a general update - but don't expect anything concrete.

As others have said, it's useful to know that the government funding option isn't just made up, or some kind of collective hallucination. And that there's continued focus on KME and Zulu.

Chippy, my comments were based on conversations with the company.

Been saying that for ages. Folks not to expect news on NOMAD until FRR really need to say something about it, as not trading right now has given them crazy breathign space -- it'll be very late/last minute

Hottrader, you better have multiple IDs, as after your recent performances on this BB, you not going to be take very seriuosly or be shown much brotherly love.

blackoil, couldn't say about the full time line but do feel an update of some kind is very near. My guess is that they working on bringing together a number of things, including Newco (even though they are pressing on with Newco regardless of those discussions).

Remain of the view that those discussions around the cash injection are genuine but, as mentioned, that discussion around capital doesn't sit on its own --- it also involves negotiations around what percentage we keep and what should be the amount remaining in the loan account.

There's a lot being negotiated with RHA -- not just cash injection but also the percentage and the 'loan account'. Takes work to make that happen, with all parties on the same page.

As a few of us have said, expect news only when it's finally necessary for them to release it. I'm confident that Hope will try to drag this out. One of the few things he has in his armoury.

With the comfort we've found ourselves over the last 24hrs, hoping that we can let the company get on with things. Know the pressure of not knowing has been difficult, especially with the sums some have in here, there should at least be some new found confidence in the process, notwithstanding that an update at some point soon is necessary and expected.

randomaxe, understand why you are skeptical. I am going on the news that is out there on the basis of conversations that have convinced me that those discussions are genuine. I am not syaing this is sorted yet - I'm just saying that I believe that we are genuine negotations over a cash injection. I was also made aware that it was not just that was being discussed, that there other elemtns to this, including what percentgae we retain of RHA and the so-called 'loan account' (i.e. the debt based upon the $20 - 25million spent on RHA).

The Jan 8th news article, with the quote form the Minister was useufl -- it showed that those negotiations are genuine and that there seems to be acceptance by the government that they should be doing their bit (including that cash injection).

Folks, one of the best things that could have come out of this is the suspension -- provided we are able to get a new NOMAD sorted soon. I think we will and we have been working on this very hard.

Had there been no suspension, then you could imagine what would've happened to the SP and the subsequent pressure placed upon the company by PIs. It would've been an undue burden in light of the court case and the energies it requires. If were still trading, then FRR BOD/ managament would've been under immense pressure to resolve earlier and that would've weakened our hand considerably.

I know there is a DD required by a new NOMAD, but I don't this court - regardless of the direction it goes - necessarily suggests an onerous obstacle to getting a NOAMD on board. Let's put it another, how do NOAMDs usually resign when there is a court case over possible debt defaults?!

If this is not a resignable issue then I do not see how it necessarily is an obstacle to getting a new one.

And as regards FRR saying they were surprised -- I can't see how they could've said anything else.

Also, it still ponder about why YA were let off so lightly?

I'm not expecting to hear about the NOMAD until we really need to...
