RE: Yellow jersey23 Jan 2019 18:30
Even if we de-list, we continue to keep our shares. Yes, those who have shares in their ISA will see those shares no longer tax exempt. But that is a small price to pay in the bigger scheme, which is to make sure we succeed in this case and keep all of our shares, and in turn see their value rise in due course
We also have to accept that ZM and SN know what is going on and their ‘moves’ or ‘non-moves’ are based upon that knowledge. If indeed they were in a strong position and it was just a matter of time and nothing else (to see the case though), then remaining suspended and even delisting would be the most sensible option. This is because, and a few of us have said on many occasions, trading under this pressure would see the SP hammered, particularly if there was no possibility for the FRR team to relay to us they were in a positive position in terms of the case. Most of us would accept they couldn’t tell us anything in the event it jeopardised the case. If we were to trade again, too early, the result in the interim would be beleaguered PIs bombarding the company with requests that they need to do something quick to save the SP. If FRR were indeed in a strong position and just needed time, then you can imagine the last thing needed was an SP smashed to smithereens causing PIs to draw their attention away from a) the case and b) work in the field.
I would add that continue to believe that ZM and SN are aligned with us (I know there are some issues but I can forgive them for these); and that they are working at this moment towards an endgame that is aligned with us.
This said, if we are to pass the date in question without a NOMAD, then I would expect an RNS. But if none came, I could live with that. I think we – FRR – need to show OMF/ Hope that we will see this through, however long it takes.
Good luck to all the genuine folks here!
