Gunsup- Yes the SP is too low & in fact one of the lowest Pensions in Western Europe.

We are now in the situation with the freezing of the Personal Tax Allowance (£12570) that which will continue to be frozen till 2027 that Pensioners with a small income on top of their SP are now having to pay Tax. So not only are Pensioners on low incomes losing their WFP but are also now paying more & more Tax.

I do not rally want to get into a TV allpwance discussion only to say that it not really a physical health issue-maybe possibly mental.

Just to say the pension credit limit is £218.15 if you're single and £332.95 if you're a couple.

Gunsup- I can see your point. I have tried to be nuanced in my comments.

Many Pensioners are just above the limit of £11336pa so that they are disqualified from the WFP. The basic pension for those retiring b4 2016 is £8814pa and after £11492pa.- not a fortune and when you have a small extra income due to a PP etc taking you above the extra money is important.

The needs of more elderly Pensioners to have a warm home is important as they are less able to cope with lowertemperatures which applies even more to the disabled. Also they are likely to be at home more than younger persons. If you are also alone it still costs them same to heat your room.

We all face struggles but I do feel that more elderly people have their own specific needs/ challenges that younger persons are able to cope with more readily.

It will be interesting to see if Starmer and Reeves do a reverse ferret on their WFP plans.

Personally I think the policy has been crassly handled and insensitive which shows how out of touch they are and politically niave.

Gordon Brown brought in this policy but I believe should have been nuanced and could have been better targeted. To cut the WFP & extra help for the disabled if you were just above the Pension Level entitlement was just folly.

A balance must be struck between admistrative,convenience, affordabilty and fairness.

So restricting it to the persons on the basic tax rate seems the most sensible and fair.

There will obviously be exceptions but generaly I think acceptable.

Unfortunately Starmer and Reeve live in a different World it seems and money is the priority .

Restricting the WFP in this way would save far less money to subsidise their other far more pressing priorities Other people can surmise what they are.

Anyway Starmer and Reeve may find that after the Party conference a reverse Ferret is adviseable but People will remember for a long time what their real attitudes/opinions are.

I can understand why Farage is wary of meeting people-he has had a close death experience in the past and many threats and assaults. It is alright being disparaging about him it goes with the turf but physical violence cannot be tolerated and it is wise of him to take precautions as the threats are real.

My view is that the choice people faced at the election was pathetic. Both major parties & the Libs did not deserve my vote. You can see as I have said b4 the Labour light Tories & labour were useless-no need to really mention the Libs. See how we have ended up now -we did not want the Tories- we did not really want the Labour-only 20% of the electorate voted for them.

Tories decimated -Labour being elected on 34% of the vote & turnout less than 60%.

No enthusiasm for Labour or Tories. Tories routed because either people did not vote or voted Reform because they wanted change. We need change but our voting system do not allow change unless people really vote for it!!

Yes it is frustrating. What gets me if Suay Chin are selling down/out then if say they took 6 months we are talking of 13M shares per day. It is to be hoped volumn picks up greatly or I think depression may set in.

I hope some big entity takes a whole pile/position so that we can avoid depression not only of us but the share price. How about it Hainan just increase your holding in Kodal plc to 25%

Gold assets & cash into Kodal Norway- Hainan as you suggest takes over Kodal Minerals -no transfer needed ? A bit too high finance for me though.

Do people think Hainan will only buy out KMUK so that there will be a distribution to Kodal Minerals shareholders or the whole of Kodal Minerals which include the gold concessions.

I would be happy for over 2p for Kmuk but more if for the whole.

I really think that we now need to raise the profile of Kodal in the investment community.

We are just a small AIM listed company which has great potential and this must be advertised.

Aim does not have a very good reputation in many quarters and is therefore overlooked.

Ramping up publicity so that we are reported positively in the main stream media would, I think ,help kick start an appreciation of our share price.

We are on the verge of production with great prospects not only with being the first Litium prodcer in West Africa but also having potential to being a gold producer.

I recall previously that we have a publicist-am I correct-if not we need one to get Kodal out there.
