Well done Starmer-timed it just right. CPI in September basis point when of Benefits/Pensions uprate calculated and saved taxpayer £££££M but yet again the poor and pensioners pay the price. September CPI 1.7%----November 2.6% Who knows what the rate will be in April when benefits and pensions are uprated.

I do really think it is time to leave the Brexit debate behind us. So much water has flowed under the bridge since then. Austerity, Covid, Immigration,Debt Boris Ukraine, net Zero,Starmer. Reeves and on it goes............. All in all it is now impossible to pin everything on just one cause Brexit. If I was going to I would say our Political class is just useless and the decisions/policies they make or do not make.

Lets just agree we are in a hole and are still now digging.
