Rishi after being appointed by MPs was very lacklustre unable to please or deliver.

He called an Election when he did not need to and could have waited. Maybe he was fed up with the job and decided why bother and escape to America.

Thats the thing is the State Pension a Benefit ? Some people & Governments seem to regard it as such but many regard it as a paymnet earned & paid for via NI over in my case 46 years paying taxes & NI.

Skier1- You seem to forget so easily how useless & ineffective the Labour light Tories were.

What you are advocating is no change ie Tory-Labour- Labour -Tory adinfinitum. We need change -what does one do- I voted Reform & I am not ashamed.

Thanks for your post AA. I agree with the AIM market as it is & the gloom hanging over FT & EU Oil shares a dual listing would be desirable. The extra cost involved would be small compared to the new investors it is likely to attract. Maybe to start the ball rolling a dual listing at FID might be appropriate, that is of course we do not attract a bid due to our low valuation.

I do not know the last time you looked closely at Rockhopper (RKH) but things have moved on quite a lot since the Premier days. Looks like now that Navitas are onboard FID could be this year & first oil in 2026 !!

Somehow Reform & all Parties will try to balance the books. Big numbers are required & £30BN will go a long way to raising the Personal Allowance to £20k which will take about 7m people out of tax and simplyfy the Tax system. Work will pay- People getting UC, Pension Credits,a small private pension/dividends on top of SP etc.

Radical thinking is required not the status quo where more & more people on low income/Benefits are drawn into the Tax net-> The Admin involved is massive-save on staff/costs.

Nigel is no numpty-although some people have a deranged opinion of him.

Vote Reform get Change- Not Labour or Labour light Tory.
