Londoner, F22 if the Aoka Mizu needs a f'ing big bad tanker to offload produced water then something has gone badly wrong IMO which is very unlikely. I dont think it has because the SP looks pretty stable today so isn't sugesting any problem on the AM and she is still producing decent amounts of Oil by all accounts.
That is my opinion only of course and happy to be wrong if someone more knowledgeable (most are) tells me otherwise.
Plus if she started producing tanker loads of formation water then Hurricane would have to let the shareholders know - they said at the CMD that any problems with the EPS and they would RNS it ASP.

IMO - Produced water will be cleaned up and discharged to sea - from memory below 30ppm is acceptable, but dont quite me on that. Trial run IMO.

SOTB, after reading your post, I contacted Hurricoms (because they obviously work on a Sunday) to see what the plan is - apparently they are contemplating tattooing the total amount of barrels offloaded, onto the side of a solar powered, carbon neutral Giant Squid, before towing the squid up and down the Moray Firth and then into Aberdeen - date and time for the sailing TBC, but I heard (from RedNovember) that they are just waiting for a replacement tow rope to arrive before setting off.

Hey, you guys know how to enjoy yourselves over the weekend - on a BB discussing a 16 year old child who may be doing an outstanding job raising real life issues , or may be she is being used by her parents, left wing groups book publishing agencies and politicians due to the young girls serious and well publicised issues - and if that is not exciting enough we have moved on to, wait for it, cavity wall and loft insulation - I can hardly contain my excitement. I really need to re-schedule more of my weekend family and social time to allow more time posting here. I think that if we can justify how those subjects are loosely linked to Hurricane Energy then perhaps LSE Admin will allow us to continue those debates on all five trading days next week.

The SP is not insecure, it this PI's that constantly need reassurance that are insecure.
WD was not a "Black Friday Event" - the drill was not commercial, but it was an exploration drill so it was never nailed on and certainly doesn't mean that WC will not be successfully drilled and tested later this year.
You want the company to "act like a major oil producer" - mmm, Major Oil Producers do not release news everytime there is an offload, or when the Drill reaches TD, or casing points, or when the CEO changes his tie or has a haircut - Major Oil Companies just get on with the job in hand which is what Hur and doing IMO.
I also think that most PI's here will still be substantially up on their investment and although many believe the SP doesn't reflect the true value and potential, with a bit of patience and good fortune on the LC drill and the EPS still very much on track, then all shareholders will do very well - my opinion only off course.

I think that a lot of trust went from investors and potential investors when the CEO and Chief Technical Officer offloaded substantial amounts of shares when the SP was 45p plus - a few weeks before they announced the "Apple" deal was not to be. If they had no inclination then why sell up?. For me I will continue to invest elsewhere no matter how low the SP goes until there is someone that I have faith in and can fully trust to lead this company.

Looks to me like a few posters are fishing (putting out some cheese) for a bit of info on the drill, and surprisingly getting a few nibbles from others who also have no clue about where the drill bit is or what it is doing or how far along the drill is.
I am more than happy to wait for an RNS to tell me that they have completed the drill, the rig is moving and that a successful or unsuccessful EWT/DST has been completed.
Listening to, and spreading half rumours and gossip on the board is pointless and smacks of desperation. - The Company will update tell us the news in good time, as they always do ;-)

The planned DST (which should happen towards the end of August IMO) will answer some of your questions, and tieing back Lincoln to the Aoka Mizu for a longer-term flow test will address any remaining risks - but as you have read the CPR then you will no doubt have read the other available information, presentations and RNS's so I guess you know that anyway.

And then factor in that the Marine Crew on the FPSO will also adjust the draught to aid stability by pumping water in or out the ballast tank depending on how much hydrocarbons are on board. - Looking at draught now, before or after offload and coming up with production numbers is as useful as believing all the rumours that will appear on this forum towards the end of the month regarding the LC drill.

Talk of £6 on results is very much Pie in the Sky here IMO. If the first drill hits then it may go to £1.20-£1.50 before falling back - if Jethro is a duster then it could drop back to the 40's - that is my honest opinion.
FWIW, I did have a substantial amount invested here until a week or so ago but, again IMO, the tell-tale-signs that I would have expected for a decent discovery (volume and SP wise) just weren't there for me. I will sit this drill out but intend to buy back in after results are confirmed be that in the 40-50p range or £1.20+ (either way then I should do ok). Good luck all, results surely cant be far away.

Yep, I read that - apparently their are chaps being asked to work into their 50s offshore, even a couple are having to worko on till they are 55 before retiring. - shocking.

Daltry, if anything it is you that is making assumptions in your post - you assume that other posters assumptions mean the SP will hardly rise, then you assumed a high and low SP depending on results, you also assume that there is a lot of over confidence. - followed by an assumption that "no one knows nothing", - hopefully the BoD and the hurricane chaps know at least a little. And you advise others to "stop assuming".
