Jiffy, the Leader will have consent to flare, probably restricted and likely only for 24 or 72hrs. But genghis us correct producing from Lincoln cannot happen on the AM until the tieback to WOSP has been completed as the OGA/BEIS have not granted any flaring consent or permit.

WW, could be a few days, could be a 10 days, it depends on how you interpret what they mean in the RNS when it says , from memory ,"Oo's are now preparing for the EWT" or words to that effect. - more than happy to ignore the rumours that will no doubt surface both for and against a positive outcome this week and wait confirmation from the Company or confirmation that the TL is genuinly flaring over a couple days. - it will take as long as it takes. IMO

Here is my take on todays RNS - they have had to, or chose to release it because some of the info previously released has changed, as has the equipment availability status (production has been way above what people think was guided and one of the flowline was Fùkç'd, now back in service). Possibly even released to nip any rumours in the bud, such as why the AM was not producing for a few consecutive days last week - now we know.

I think the RNS also informs investors that the guided production rates 45% an 65% are still unchanged, even though the wells have proven they can flow double the 14.4k barrels that they have been averaging so far. It was also further confirmation (for me anyway) the 45%, and 65% from next month, were due to systems availability, and not well performance or anything subsea. Most here were aware of the ongoing work on the Gas Compression system in readiness for the tie-back to the WOSP next year. I wasn't aware that the Produced Water system wasn't fully commision yet, but not a big deal and pretty sure that there are a few other mod's or pieces of kit to be brought on line before turning the taps up to > 20k a day .
I disagree with Biffa, that we need for info on the flowline issue - more info = more question, more speculation, more rumours. I am happy to read - The flowline was Flûked, the flowline is no longer flúked , the flowline is fully working again. Job done.
So no matter what the SP does today, I am more than happy with the RNS. In my mind it has cleared the decks for the LC result because that is where the fun will start. Because IMO, if we have an RNS saying LC was non- commercial then we are looking at low 30s (SP), as opposed to a positive DST and results,- in which case, I am hoping for all time SP highs. But WTFDIK, and it is AIM so anything is possible.
GLA, and hope we see or hear about the Leader flaring in the next week or two.

Ash, if they are mixing up perched water and aquifer water then more fool them. The RNS clearly states that it is perched or trapped water, as expected so not concerned.

DHC, water cut as expected, and its perched water so no worries there, and there was always going to be further testing, that is the main purpose of the EPS although the cash it is generating is very handy as well :-)

Hugely positive IMO, with the ussual caveats, but to be producing on average 14.4k barrels through the one flow line is outstanding, and they now have the second one back in operation. Looks like they are pressing on commissioning the Gas Compression systems on the FPSO this year, so hopefully have that tied into the WOSP next summer.
Lincoln is slightly ahead of where I though it was, so fingers crossed for flaring this week -(with 3 FPSOs close by, the Deep Sea Aberdeen driller, the Solan platform and quite a few other vessels in the area, thats probably nearly 500 people that will be able to see the TL) so we should pretty much hear as soon as the flare is lit, day or night.
And 1.2 million barrels produced - so spot on again to the Alisdair Stobies Dutch "mate" .

FL, LC will not be hooked up and producing by the end of this year, next year maybe but not 2019.

Yes, I think the third well may, just run over into Jan next year butI do not see any reason why they will postpone spuding the third drill - the Leader can work through the WoS winter, it will only need a half decent weather window to move to WD and in my experience, that shouldn't be too much to ask towards the End of Sept.

Similarly, how other trade is up to them, if holding long term and never trading works for you then do it, if swing or day trading works then great. Criticising others for how they buy and sell, whether that is Retail Investors or II's just smacks of self doubt or jealously.

And just to clarify- when I talk about being all in - It is all in on my portfolio, so although if it went tits up for some reason it would certainly be annoying, but would not effect my current or future lifestyle, early retirement plans or pensions. Just though I would add that before anyone jumps in to save me from myself and tell me how foolish I am - dont bother, its to late, I am a lost cause.

I, on the other hand, dont mind telling everyone that I am now all in here at the minute, as I am sure that most know that I make as many wrong calls as I do right ones. So anyone influenced by my unknowledgable, uneducated and poorly researched trading strategy, not to mention poor spelling a grammar and lack of industry knowledge - would be very foolish to trade based on what I say or do.

Ref, flaring this weekend - anything is possible, personally, I think that is a tad early, but that is only a guess as I have no real clue when it will happen or what is happening WoS.
