Jog, as we know, are hosting a Capital Markets Day on Tuesady. They will no doubt be inviting along current and potential stakeholders, the ussual analysts, maybe a few media bod's and MGW will tag along for the buffet. ( only joking Malcy, we do love your input).
Those days are usually used to discuss any recent updates, strategy etc. , but I am struggling to see what can be discussed until there is new news out there - either an acquisition, Equinor taking up their options or something else. - so to that end I would be surprised if we never had at least one RNS tomorrow or more likely Monday or Tuesday next week.

I doubt it would be allowed at present as he will be aware of a lot more info coming out of the EPS than what is available in the open market - it would also negatively confirm that they are not in discussions with any other parties regarding sale farmout etc, (if they were/are in negotiations then it would be a closed period fo any of the board buying).

Why, any token effort buy will be seen as just that, the SP may tick up a couple a %or two for a couple of days due to the naive punters that do not see it for what it is,. Let the Board get on with what they are paid to do, which is to create value for the shareholders by proving concept and producing oil - that is their job (and that is what they are doing ) their job is not to steady the nerves of a fee retail investors that get spooked either by the SP dropping due to other market forces or because they listen to the parasites that infest those boards trying to subtly or otherwise, cast doubt on your investments.

Big buys, more buys then sells, more sells than buys, MMs collecting millions of shares (really), MMs want your shares, overbought, oversold, Oil is going out of fashion, big buys and sells being worked bla, bla, bla - it is beginning to sound like the UKOG or Sound board. - if posters are going to ramp or deramp then please be original, or at least believable - not that either will make any difference to the SP.
The bottom line for me is - we have got a free carry on the Warick Well, results due in a few weeks, we have an FPSO producing WoS at around 14k a day (yes still 14 IMO) and with the next offload due soon, we have over $100 million in the coffers. What's not to like here, apart from the SP of course. :-)

PT, thanks, I thought it was around that time, but couldn't find it on my phone. So it is unlikely that the Company will, IMO, invite potential investors to the CMD with only the info out there. - so in my mind the following may be in the pipeline before the 8th.
They may be expecting to have a decision from Equinor regarding taking up their Options - due 2 week later.
They may have more info on an the development plan, which may be fast tracked to suit the OGA and comply with their license bid and award - although without Equinors decision it is highly unlikely that any announcement on this could be made.
They may have news on a producing acquisition - this seems to be back on the radar after it taking a backseat to the Verbier drills.
Any of the above will have to be RNS'd before the CMD, I just cannot see JOG presenting to the room without having anything new to discuss.

CPR wont be till the end of October IMO, 4-6 weeks I think Gil said, which should be about the time we see the Carapa result as well.
News on Namibia could land anytime though, as could any other deals that Gil has up his sleeve.
The SP has drifted short term, IMO because traders are hedging their bets that no news is just around the corner, they may be correct but I would expect traders and investors to take a position here in the next month or so pushing it back close to 200p before the CPR.

InJamesWeTrust, its floating mine. If they start acting like your name-sake across at Sound, making empty promises promoting a ME that was never going to happen to boost the SP that that is when I would be worried.
The SP movements just now are no good for small-time traders or nervous holders, but I am more than happy with the longer term plan that is laid out by the Company, and pretty sure that this share will be hugely lucrative to the patient medium term investor.

In my mind, the EPS is the key - if it performs well then it brings both Lincoln and Warwick (if the next drill hits) into play. I have no doubt that the EPS is still as guided, and if it were not then the Company would tell us.
Ignore the clowns that constantly force their point multiple times (Geo1 etc). I am all for looking at the risks or posts that challenge the Company or my thinking - but when they post the same point many times, and have a posting history worse that the Street, or whatever he is called now, then they go into the clown box . IMO.
Who would you rather believe, RT or the muppets who have constantly got it wrong many times on PMO, UKOG etc. ????

I fully understand that Hurricane will be keeping an eye on the FPSO market and talking to FPSO owners, but I cannot see any scenario which realistically results on Hurricane having another FPSO producing on the GLA or the GWA before early 2023. They need to drill more wells on both areas before any FEED and FID can happen. I think we will see both fields being drilled next year and both FIDs taking place early 2021.

The formal completion of the Zermatt, Glen and Buchan blocks to JOG by the OGA, although a formality, was a prerequisite to any announcement of Equinor taking up their options. Yes they have another month or so to officially decide however I do think that we may see news on this front sooner rather than it going to the deadline. To me that would make sense and then they can officially get on with the putting together the FDP with their partners.

Ash - XEL and Hur are in completely different situations but I think you know that, also your statement saying "Capex will be $25 a barrel next year" was somewhat baffling, or at least it was to me. A bit of mischief on your behalf perhaps.

IMO, Hurricane do not need to jump into any FID for FFD. - this could be phased, using multiple FPSO's over several years (FFS, could Ricfle have been right once afterall) if required using some debt/RBL etc if needed. There will also be vessel owner's that will work with Hurricane rather than having FPSOs doing nothing and costing money. - This may a preferable solution in the long run as although bringing in a partner will monetise the assets quicker it is still dilution - I have full faith in the BoD to find the correct solutions, and pretty sure that they have a very strong hand now that the EPS is producing, as, or better than modeled.

Interesting, Eco's acerage in both Guyana and Namibia would fit very well into Exons new vision and a complete takeover is very possible. I suggest Exon would want want as much of the pie as possible including Tullows share in the block - doubtful that Exon would want the rest of Tullows projects, but selling their share in Guyana would potentially clear their (Tullows) debt and set them up going forward. It could be a very interesting few months ahead.

Quite possible that they have looked at the WD result and changed the plan for the next drill. Pretty sure the OGA would be supportive of this and facilitate it with any changes to permits if required.

204/30b-A was previously referred to as Warwick Crestal but more recently in comm's, Huricane has referred to this well as "Warwick West". No conspiracy, no change of plan or new permits needed IMO.

So apart from the Interim results and news that we have 2 new plug-and-play FPSOs being delivered West of the Shetalnds next week, what other information do we think may be released on Friday, and of those, which if any, will move the bloody Share price?

Most importantly for me is confirmaton that the EPS is still doing as modeled . Perched water still as guided, both wells still on line and producing decent rates, are the ESPs being used or not, update on Oil Offloaded (circa 1.7 million barrels? hopefully) etc.

More info on the Warwick Deep drill would be good and how does that result effect the next Warwick drill.

More info on the Lincoln Well and DST, the PI, the GOR, was the 9800bpd restricted by surface equipment etc.

Any details or changes to the drilling programme on GWA next year and GLA the following year.

Any update on the systems still being commissioned on the AM, update on the tieback to the gas pipeline.

Unfortunately, I think that Hurricane will release the minimum information that they need to, it will be understated as always with the ussual unnecessary caveats. - I hope I am wrong but it does seem to be the way the BoD want to play it just now.
