Regarding the weather window next week - the sea state (wave and swell) only dip below 3m for a very short period on Monday so unlikely that this will be a "goer" but from Wed onwards then the weather is again ideal for another attempt at hooking up - so on that basis I do not see the AM sailing till Sunday at the earliest.

Lady Sonia, we saw 50p before the last hook up attempt when the Oil Price was circa $60, so I would think that 50p minimum and 55 - 60p if successful, but who knows with this share.

DC, thanks for the pointers although I am aware that fishing boats are sometimes used as guard vessels in the industry, for pipelines, wind farms etc although Manned Rigs and FPSOs now use proper offshore Standby vessels (or so a mate of a mate told me). I just could not work out why NcB stated that "they MUST be testing the rope" because they had a guard vessel in the same sea as the AM. That's all

Hi Magee, from memory Spirit are funding the 3 Wells (starting Q2 2019) and the long lead items that need ordering (H2 2019) to tie back one of the GWA Wells to the AM, and also funding 50% of the costs of the actuall tie back to the AM next year, providing GWA phase 1 is successful.
If that is not the case then pretty sure someone will correct me, I cannot check as I am on shopping duties, a prerequisite to watching the rugby.

I also have no concerns about Spirit Energy or the impact that they may have on the Operations. The dosh for the drills and tie-back will be ringfenced which is really what Hurricane want from them at this stage of the game.
Not sure what the AM is doing just now, because the weather Monday is very marginal for any hook-up attempt (circa 3m waves and swell are forecast), but if it does head North later today then it may catch quite a few scrambling to buy back after trading a few, watch for a spate of more negative posts.
FWIW, I do think that the weather window on Thursday and Friday is probably the best we have seen this year and that this will be pencilled in for the next attempt but you just never know.

LS, yes night time hook up is possible although at the minute all day Thursday is within limits and as such we should see AM movement Monday or Tuesday - provided we have the rope of course, which I am quietly confident will be available. We may IMO see some moment in the SP early next week as investors take a position before the next, and hopefully final, hook-up attempt.

Not sure that the joint broker appointment necessarily means they are raising funds, although it is a possibility, but for what - not for operating costs or the drills (fully funded for 2 years on both fronts). Possibly some cash needed for another license in another area (Not Namibia or Guyana) as Gill mentioned on an interview last year - so possibly at a premium again and certainly positive if indeed that is the case.
