Choppers will usually fly up to 60kts but the cut off for sea state is 6m waves (both are well within limits today and tomorrow) the vessel movement is more critical to the choppers though but doubt that will stop this afternoon flight.

They may need another or several other wells depending on what they encounter in this well. Still hopefully another few weeks before TD, the longer the better IMO because it means that there is something there to appraise, and then a couple of weeks to interpret the samples and pressure readings. Patience is key here.

She is Sat off just now IMO, sea state is at its lowest between 1700-2100hrs this evening, hoping to see her move closer to the buoy mid afternoon.

True but swell and wave height is currently around 2m - and does not go above 3m before tomorrow afternoon. It then is out of limits for the rest of the week rising to 8+m Sig waves height ((12m max wave height) and 50+knts wind speeds, gusting 60-70 Sat and Sun.

Possibly due to some news today or expected news tomorrow on other shares. PIs jumping ship here to try and catch a rise elsewhere. They will be back before the well is completed and then again before results are interpreted and released. IMO

Latest weather forecast at 2000hrs shows the weather window is indeed still very much open, and sea state decreased further. I would be surprised if BW do not go for it at First Light aiming to complete by early evening.
Hard to call what the SP will do first thing, but if the AM is still WoS it will IMO open higher, and will be very hard to buy below 50p if the FPSO starts to move over the buoy. I think and hope a successful hook up should or could see us testing 60p but the bigger fish will dictate this - some traders will take profits, some IIs may sell into the rise, I also think that a lot of declared and undeclared shorts may close first thing. Anyway, if we hook up it is another tick in the box no matter what the SP does.
I also hope that we will see the Leader move away from the Kraken in the next couple of days, into dock for maintenance and back out to Lincoln first or second week April
I do not see Foil being priced in and hope that First Oil and a successful appraisal well on Lincoln should send this over £1. All IMO and of course we need to get the bleedin buoy hooked up first.

MD01, the weather forecast for Mon/Tue has been pretty much unchanged for the last 5 days so I hope that BW decision making is based on something a bit more technical and scientific than flipping a coin.

Hope you are doing ok pal, and watching the AM heading towards the Lancaster field like the rest of us idiots - for the final attempt at hooking up the pesky buoy.

Bloo, sorry, I would be guessing either way. I wasn't reply expecting the AM to move till after the flight today, so that may suggest some prep work to be done Monday morning with the new rope. Pretty sure that the BW will have it in hand, just hope that all conditions are favourable and their luck holds this time.

Mr Wicks, I certainly do not think myself or my knowledge more superior than anyone on here. But I also do not bullshit or exagerate anything, and even if I had the want, there are too many on this board that know me through work or that I have met socially, others through PMs and emails, - so bullshitting would be futile.
I do get a little annoyed aometimes when some blatently post opinions as facts or seek to knowingly influence others (not saying that was the case with you). Genuinely sorry if if I was a bit sharp on the reply to your post earlier, it was pre-coffee but no excuse.
