I'm in both, for different reasons but this result can only bode very well for 88e too - if only most would realise it.
The earlier realisable value, at a lower cost profile, for 88e lies in their Icewine acreages IMHO and will not be contingent on the involvement of others and expensive delivery costs.

I'm out as I said much earlier today having been in for 11 years but wish to see the LTHs protected. Not really too bothered about the Johnny Come Lately bunch if I'm honest.
The issue for me would be the danger of a sale of the subsidiary entity in a foreign jurisdiction and what then happens to the cash raised (£100m or whatever the number happens to be). It's all well and good stating that you can then sell your shares at the new SP based AMC value based on cash asset holdings. IMHO you'd need to be PDQ to get your 7p as there would be a run on AMC's bank.
The alternative is that RY and co could come up with some other hair brained plan to invest (spend) the money, including their own continued remuneration.
Corporate and Regulatory due diligence on what is, and what is not allowable needs to be considered.

After years of telling us all of that price sensitive information about plant and equipment serial numbers, how many pizzas he's supplied to the drillers canteen and other such nonsense, old RY was shamed into telling us formally that he's considering a derisory bid. As often said, he's no idea about business and finance and so hopefully he's got someone helping him out.
I left here in March 2021 and much exasperation and a hefty loss to move on elsewhere with others, having been 'in' since late 2010. Thankfully, the losses have been recouped - well almost! biggest regret was not selling at the 40p spike all those years ago and then getting caught at circa 10p in August 2017. Ah well, you live and learn!
Good luck to all here and good to see lots of old names re-appearing. Good to see TDT still doing the research and have great respect for Vertigo and Red for their massive contributions over the years.
It would be good to see some competition in a bidding war but do we really believe that will happen?

Interesting to re watch the webinar.
I think it has been emphasised previously but worth re-hearing again at 1hour 27 minutes and 50 seconds in.
In talking about the former farm out discussions, the company reiterated that the deal was for a 10 digit investment by the potential partner for "quite a modest percentage" of the company.
That's minimum $1bn and I think it follows that "quite a modest percentage" is less than a controlling interest.
Let those numbers sink in ;-)

Requests for comments usually don't usually contain wording like this:

What seems to be the precedent $3.10 per barrel paid by Oilsearch was mentioned more than once. All on very low recovery factors.
Low royalties on state lands.
100% working interest.
Location, location, location on the Dalton & TAPS.
Interesting reference to declining production levels from current US fields and new wells required to bolster production levels.
Relatively clean environmentally and socially on company acreages.
important to find the right partners strategically and aspirationally, whilst retaining control. Majors therefore not favoured as partners.
Visibility - only recently able to come out of the traps as important to remain invisible whilst most recent acquisition transactions concluded in early 2021 - now able to come forward more openly - explains conservative PR.
Now able to open up to institutions & debt financiers
News flow will be delivered as it comes, as required by regulators.
Tricky to communicate matters in price sensitive areas and so unable to answer some of the more direct questions put to the webinar.
All in all very, very positive!

As to posting traffic, I think it's all been said and we're all just hunkered down awaiting news. Be careful what you wish for on that front, I'm currently following COPL at the moment and the posts there amount to over 500 a day! Much nonsense charting every last cough, belch or fart the SP makes up or down, what the MMs are doing, blah, blah.... - heard it all before! Go away for more than an hour and you have 4 or 5 pages of unadulterated drivel to wade through.

Anyway just for you..............BOOM!................wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend...... ;-)

Very briefly, without wishing to take up the PANR blog with other 'stuff', completely 'get' where you're coming from, but if you are found to mislead regulated markets with misstatements, you're in a whole load of ****. That video shouted " would you trust this man?" Perhaps of a nervous disposition?

Yeah! Makes sense. Hopefully, after this drill season, 88e will be able to get the weighing scales out? Place your bets.....
