Good news already from Talitha, certainly to the extent that 88e are now desperate to talk about it, a bit of a testing glitch on the SMD in this location, but all evidence of oil unchanged. Any issues at Theta with cementing are resolved and testing is to go ahead on what was always considered the primary target.
Alkaid to proceed later with another opportunity to review the SMD.
A minor glitch which should not diminish the prospect one iota.

Firstly, I stand by the content and style of what I said in relation to Mr1234 - take that as you will. Not great but having re-read it this morning, I'm still in the same place.
Secondly, and most importantly, something very good came out of it in learning of the humanitarian mission Bighands is about to make, with his pals, in delivering aid to the Polish/Ukrainian border. It is a shame that such fantastic human kindness was deleted arising from a spat on another topic, but well done Bighands. Others also wished you well in your mission and they are to be applauded. They included Scot, Howey and Blackadder.
Great work Bighands. I wish you all a safe and rewarding journey.

.....and if Willow doesn't go ahead (bearing in mind that it still does not have consent) it's a pipeline of over 90 miles, with several river crossings, to get to TAPS. IF Conoco are ever to develop Willow and their pipeline, they'll likely want their hefty cut. Another cost to be considered in deriving Net Present Value of OIP.
You, and many others, quote values without any consideration of the total cost to get the product to market and the time it will take to get it into production.
Then, there continues to be the environmental lobby, the lawyers and so on and so on..........
Not to mention the fact that we have almost unprecedented oil price levels and we now appear to be relying on these levels being sustainable in a long term future plan.
