He's said very little for several months and the last time he made a significant contribution it was in relation to the balance of risk of access to market, either through Willow (subject to an Appeal, if it happens) and Conoco allowing its use by 88e at a sensible cost, or the large cost of building a separate pipeline across to TAPS. All, much debated hereabouts.

I think you'll find it doesn't. A flow test signifies proving of the flow of oil, which this clearly didn't do. Not even the company made that particular claim.

The Tracey Brothers spotted on the tundra trying to work out how best to get the rig to site a bit quicker ;-)

No question as to Flow Test budget which is why the cash raise is needed.
De-mobilise rig date of 5 April is most likely the key date.
If no time last year for Flow test on 6 April, why is this year different? Or does the thaw happen on the same day every year?

Potential loss of equipment on thawing tundra? Getting the rig & equipment back to terra firma?

Just to pick up on Rabito's earlier post, the RNS dated 6 April 2021 in relation to Merlin 1 states:

" It is now too late in the season to initiate flow testing operations and the forward program will consist of plugging the well."

A Merlin 2 spud anticipated in early March with a 3-4 week drill timeline, as per this morning's RNS will take matters into exactly the same disappointing timelines as last year with Merlin 1
This makes the timing of the SP pump and dump exit even more critical as there is every likelihood that those flow tests will not happen this year and may need to wait until 2023, at the earliest.
Perhaps the flow test budget will be surplus after all. Any more wells for sale? ;-)

Sounds like you're in pain this morning...........and so you should be.
Of course companies need capital, but when we're led to believe it's all there and we suddenly get a kick in the gonads don't you have some serious questions or are you just going to accept it, say thank you and retrospectively try to justify it?

Queries over last year's cost hike and questions over whether they've enough this year - all roundly rejected!
Now we have the prospect of an acquisition in Texas apparently without any knowledge of the resource available.

What a different story it might have been................

All very ironic that the mere mention of Pantheon and anything associated with it was taboo here not long ago and any reference was the subject of huge rebuke. Now everybody wants to talk about it.
