Is that 500,000 purchase CB again, or a copy-cat buyer?

If it is CB then maybe the market will start to sit-up and take notice?

I guess that's about £25K that CB has invested on the open market over the last couple of months?

Unusual for CB to do that - he usually prefers to invest through placings so that the cash goes directly to the company rather than to another PI.

For what it's worth, this says to me that there is no further planned placing on the immediate horizon and CB wants to take advantage of current price before it is too late as the expected news is likely to move the SP in the short term.

Otherwise, I see no reason for him to invest his own money in this way?

Yes, he will certainly look a bit silly now if some of his recent predictions and timescales fail to come to fruition!

Won't be much of a party of the long-overdue placing takes place before Xmas.
On the other hand LR promised that the SP would improve before that happened so as to minimise dilution .

Of course things announced in RNSs often come to nought, and on those occasions people that have chosen to ignore the RNS can, justifiably, be smug about it.

Only insider trading if something happens that has not been publicly announced previously.

If, on the other hand, something happens that has been referred to in a previous RNS then it is most certainly not 'insider trading' just folly on the part of those that chose to ignore the RNS...

I'm not sure my memory goes back that far, but well over 6 years - back to before XTR bought Chepica! If I'd known then what I know now I could have saved about three years of angst...

However, as I said, much happier now and with recent developments since CB took over am actually beginning to regain a bit of confidence.

2020 could be a year to remember - and maybe even for the right reasons this time! LOL

For me to get down to that level I would probably have to buy half the company at the current price, LOL.

However I do agree on the short/medium term potential here and fully believe I will eventually make a reasonable profit...eventually!

Exactly one month ago today when the decision was made to take up the option on Kalengwa. The payment shares (ca 20 Million of them) should be issued soon - luckily they are tied-in for at least 6 months so there will be no sell-off and, even at the normal XTR glacial pace of progress, there should be plenty of good news between now and then to help convince them to hold on to at least some of the shares...

Doesn't take much to move the SP on these small volumes.

Considering the Market Cap. has reduced from £1Bn to less than £35K in just over 3 years, that must be the understatement of the month!
This must be one of the most meteoric falls in a mid-cap company value in recent history?

Results should start to flow before Christmas - after all, he does repeatedly mention the "coming weeks" rather than months...

On the other hand, CB is not famous for the accuracy of his timescales!

Looks like the red tape was taken care of at pace - and I guess it had to be if the exploration commitments are to be completed before April next year?

Thinking about it, and again from memory, CB stated some time ago that there was gravity processable ore in abundance at surface and to depth at one particular play that has a special association with this Tuesday so maybe the next update will arrive then?
Now, that would certainly represent a new twist to the plot...

I think I am with Andrew on this one.

Having placed letters of intent and paid deposits for long lead time items does not, in itself, guarantee that CIL processing will start on schedule. We have seen far too many schedules slip over the last few years to be able to take that for granted.

However, if memory serves, initial hard rock processing was intended to start in Q4, using existing gravity processing equipment and that does not rely on CIL availability.

Hard rock production is, by it's very nature, more reliable than alluvial production so I will be a lot more confident once gravity processing has commenced as that will then fill the gap whilst the CIL is being built and commissioned.

The next big milestone will, in my opinion, be when the company achieves overall positive cashflow and I don't believe that necessarily requires the completion of the CIL plant.

I was abroad on business so couldn't make it.
This question of funding must be coming to a head as the company has now apparently survived on less than £70,000 for over 4 months- that would give a monthly overhead of less than £18,000, which does not seem likely?

Some sort of news must be due soon, if only to tell us the company has won the lottery? LOL.
