The only logical reason for so many shares to be sold at half the price that Sanderson paid for them - only 5 months ago... So I guess we have them to thank for holding the price down at this level so that those that are interested can snap up a bargain ( or maybe a pig in a poke - i am still wondering about the the exploration period at Mankayan ending this month and no news as to whether the requirements have been met, so the sale could fall away before it has even got started?)

The XTR-managed operation area is specifically excluded from the BZT deal - looks like CB is putting 100% focus onto that project. Probably a good thing for XTR as his time will be less divided over other projects...

The successful partial disposal of Mankayan would seem to me to be the only hope CB has of being able to fund the Kalengwa exploration...I think LR said BZT could be in receipt of the £5.5M payment by July if all went well?

Including last placing should have had more like £5.5M in the bank at the end of January - if you are correct about the cash burn then that will last until April 2021?

Also Marco's bonds are only secured on Sidi Moktar - what would he do with it if we surrendered it to him? Looks to me like he may be the one had by his short and curlies - is that why he is the only one of the Parsons gang to still be hanging around? - Bet he won't want to be left holding the baby!

I'm sure that we all very sorry to hear that trellis has had a relapse and is likely to be out of circulation for a day or two. I am sure that all here wish him a very speedy recovery.
Just because Trellis is not in a position to circulate the SAG membership with his compilation of notes made from the CC, I do not see why anybody would want to infer that the meeting was anything other than amicable and positive from both sides? - Except , maybe, to cause mischief or for something to do out of boredom?
Being a SAG member myself, and having a lot of faith in Trellis, I am more than happy to wait a few days to hear his take on the proceedings. The important thing, IMO, is that Trellis takes whatever time is needed to fully recover without having to be concerned about what is being posted on this BB.

If anything I think that CB feels under pressure to publish news that will reassure worried LTHs ( mea culpa?).
As a result I would not be surprised if he is waiting for some reassuring comments that he can make before issuing an RNS. True that all publically traded companies must report price-sensitive information in a timely fashion - but what is the definition of "price sensitive "?
Based on this (admittedly very crude) analysis, I would hope that the next RNS will blow our minds - but we may have to wait quite a while for it!

On the contrary, just like everybody else, I have heard nothing at all recently - that's what makes me nervous.
Of course it could be completely unfounded, but going on past performances when news has been delayed it is hard to be optimistic...

Without any news I really can't see why that would happen?
Even if the share is massively oversold (IMO) it would still be risky to sell the family silver to buy more without knowing, with any certainty, what is going on in the company.

I hope I am pleasantly surprised, but am not holding my breath...

I believe that, as with the low hanging fruit at Manica, the hand sorting at Kalengwa may have been seen as a distraction from the main task in hand - that of setting up sustainable commercial production on both sites.

So am not holding my breath on that front...

Whoever it is must be making a big loss as there have been precious few shares bought for less than 0.65p.

I still feel they will want to "check out the goods" before putting forward a buy-out offer. That would mean processing hard rock for at least 3 months.

With first production due in August/September that means any offer would likely be made in Q1 2021, during the rainy season, at the earliest.

Not what a lot of us want to hear - but the most likely scenario IMO.

However, if and when an offer does come then , as many have stated, it will take the SP to many, many times the current level.

I am well, thank you and I hope you are too.
Here in London there seems to be quite a bit of panic over the virus, and I guess I can understand it for those in the high risk category and they should certainly already be self-isolating IMO.
I calculated that even here, where the infection rate is worst, and taking the worst case scenario of there being 10,000 Greater Londoners infected without their knowledge I could still have close contact with 6 different people every day for 6 months and the likelihood is that only one of those people would be infected. So I am finding it a bit difficult to understand the current response.
I guess I can only put it down to 'better safe than sorry'.
No I meant the April show - at the time I spoke to Colin there was no talk of postponement.

I spoke to Colin recently and he confirmed that he would be at the show as usual. It is likely that many companies do not confirm their attendance until the last minute as relatively few are listed on their website until a week or two before the show date.

I just did a dummy buy for 50,000 shares, the ask is 1.25p and it went to NT.

The current SP does not seem to reflect recent reported trades. Has the bid been artificially dropped to encourage sells so that buy orders can be filled?
Did anybody actually manage to buy shares yesterday at below 1.25p?
