Chitling, JJ - Just been analysing the MKS website this morning - the stock they have sold at full price by my calculations is quite simply staggering, even the sale items, the majority are selling at a 20pct, 30pct discount with very few items selling at 50pct off - some goodmove items which have come onto the website after the 1st Jan have sold out already - the figures on the 13th will imo be spectacular - the idea of selling Marks dresses/trousers etc directly next to Hobbs/Seasalt etc is genius as it pitches Marks against higher end retailers and I am convinced this has given MKS market share as customers try Marks clothes for the first time - we will see in the trading update but as I have said before I am very very confident in this share and convinced it will go north of 3 quid in the next couple of months - gla dyor etc

The Telegraph financial experts list their top 8 share recommendations for 2022 today - Marks is one of them on the basis that the share is underpriced if its revival plan stays on track- this is something I have been saying for weeks now - if MKS beats the 500m full year estimates I think the share will be rerated - 12 days and counting to the trading update

A prosperous New Year for MKS share holders awaits - Been investing for over 30 years and I have never been as bullish on any share as I am on this one - all in my humble opinion of course- good luck for next year guys and stay safe

Placed a buy order at 84p today to add to my holding with an expiry for cob tomorrow - more than happy to buy at this price - 6 months target for me is 120p - gla dyor and a Happy New Year to you all

Looking at the M and S website - atm sale stock this Christmas verses previous years, it looks to me like Marks have managed it extremely well with very little of their own stock left on the shelves - this is looking extremely good - Goodmove, the M and S active wear is now the number 1 active wear destination in the UK according to the Telegraph - retail analysts will know this and I expect the share price to tick up in anticipation of the trading update on the 13th - let's see

Merry Christmas to all the SGC regulars and newbies - I am positive for SGC in 2022 - I think once the Omicron virus has played out with its milder severity we can get back to normality - buses in cities throughout the UK will be enhanced to fulfil climate change promises and the synergies between SGC and NEX will imo propel this share well north of a quid -

Agree with Fleccy here and I will not be selling any VOD shares anytime soon - big rotation going on at the moment out of tech and into value shares paying dividends - VOD is one of them - many big players like Investec are forecasting big gains for UK value stocks in 2022 - Merry Christmas to all and hopefully a prosperous New Year for all VOD investors

Big spike up 10 minutes ago for SGC - went up 3pct trading at 84.3p as I am typing - not sure why though - Nothing on reuters - anyone heard anything?
