If the company are being transparent - then they have not been charged at this time and lets hope they arent further down the line
if it purely is a witness with absolutely no ramifications then surely they would have said so in the rns eg "cnsl has been summoned to court as a witness in the charge against ncyt blah blah"
instead we get
"The alleged offences relate to Omega South West, a company previously owned by Omega Diagnostics Limited and sold in 2018." and
"The Company has received a summons with a first hearing scheduled for the 18th March 2025. The Company is discussing the matter with its legal advisers and determining the best course of action for all stakeholders."
my worry would be that the charge is initially against ncyt and the worry would be that ncyt state the breach was already in effect on purchasing the lab etc
at best it was a poorly worded rns....at worst? who knows?
