I wouldn't say nobody wants HUR - they have assets and tax losses which could be attractive to a buyer. However I suspect any interested parties would wait to see what the future plans going forward are and the CPR due 2021.

All we know is that production restarted on 8/9/20 - we dont know how long it takes to get up to the max. AM can hold just over 600bbls. there are a lot of other factors have they delayed over weather..i seem to remember last year there was a conversation on them keeping more oil on board for stability in bad weather - I have no idea if that is true or not.

so no as i said at this stage I am not concerned - end of next week - yes .

Ngm - they only restarted after maintenance finished on 8th sep. They probably pretty much emptied am for the maintenance - so I don't think there is any cause for concern.

lincoln will be dependent on spirit. Currently i don't think it is valued in as there is serious doubt - that they will not move forward on it. of course if news were to come through with it proceeding that would boost SP in my view.

haggis - i would tend to agree with you on that. i cant see any other benefit on giving up seat on board and info. i wonder if that has any bearing on why price seems to be oscillating in a very narrow range.

lol...though lets be fair - without the bond we would probably never got to EPS stage...though with aim companies they always seem to be overvalued on a promise rather than actual production!..so maybe that would have been better!..lol

imho there is no point hur worrying about the bonds at this stage. quite frankly the main issue is how hur are going to go forward and keep the company running long term. this means cash is king. it gives options although i suspect they will still need further funding partners along the way if enough oil is there and gettable.

if hur has a futrure the bonds can be refinanced - if it doesnt then everyone will lose out. the obsession is with bb commentators who are looking at trying to place a value on hur considering its debt. of course those with a negative view are using it as ammunition

Slift - I called over 3p towards 3.5p this week and if we hadn't had a bad market day on Monday and today's rns I think I might have been proved right. OK maybe I was being stupid to assume no drama rns from hur but let's face it this one came from nowhere. I am still not sure what it means and if it is good or bad. Thankfully the sp hasn't crashed - and it does seem to being held just under the 3p mark

During the presentation i seem to remember that they did say they would be speaking to stakeholders etc about future plans etc . I assumed this was JV partners , bond holders and large holdings...

interesting watching the price today - initial drop on rns - probably to see if market had a bad reaction to it....after it didn't it is seemingly being kept below 3p ish. I wondrr if more holding notifications on the way?

I don't trust CA one bit. However let's be honest it is about the only good news we have had all year...at least they are showing some positivity however temporary. I would rather they are accumulating rather than selling off which must have been a worry on some minds after the downgrade.

As I have said I am expecting a few more Twists and turns in the story and I still believe this has at least a bounce left in it.

ngm - I am not disagreeing with your long term view of the company. There is also a need for all opinions on hur so that people can make as informed as decisions as possible.

however you would have more credibility if you did not provide what could be considered misinformation yourself

british - there seem many on this bb who have lost considerable sums with hur - including myself- so i feel your pain. the primary purpose of the eps was data gathering in expectation of a FFD. This gets a bit forgotten. there was never ever anything definite though i did feel that as time went on and production was continuous that the risk was decreasing not increasing!

not only is unfortunate for sharehiolders but the country - i believe being self sufficient in oil is an even more desirable thing given the world situation. not to mention greener as less transportation etc.

i do agree trust has gone - and if hur has a long term future the company would do well to rebuild it.

ngm - i seem to remember that in the presentation they said it would not be an issue before 2021. i can understand people being doubtful mid 2020 but I think you are being disingenuous to suggest by December?

i suspect water cut may increase steadily but why do you think production will be lower so quickly?

slift - i think we were due a bounce and CA have shown some faith in the future by buying (however temporary) as well as their summary....so could have added some fuel. . my thinking was that we would bounce and drop a couple of times then stagnate until december plans revealed...unless any surprises...be nice to have a good rns for a change!
