unfortunately the presentation panned out pretty much as expected - other than the shocking news of the gov contract expiry. he has always seemed to start with non covid stuff - which from his point of view has always been core of the business. the trouble is that no one was interested in odx for that and still isn't. unfortunately more than half the time goes on repeating stuff that doesn't change much.

as for muted. firstly i think the SP crash was always going to burst every bubble. colin could also make fillet steak sound like a macdonalds patty - as seen by his RNS and previous communications.

totally agree on that. once the ii placing was at 7p the price was always going there anyway. I am not criticising as i think think they played a blinder .however i guess having massively diluted the stock - it is a token gesture to LTH.

computer - i thought there was one extension and that was the issue as colin had assumed it would be extended again but there were only one extension allowed?

i am not sure they have had access or time enough to test the new variant.

kate - i would say that if the gov wanted to use odx at any stage then colin would jump. it would seem from the presentation that this would only happen if odx had their own test or else the gov sorted something out via OG.

i think the fact that colin said forget about it - prob means it is very unlikely

i always worried about the amount of lft stock the gov have left - see computers posts (i think?) and that they do want to stop handing them out for free. only til april or something when the better weather should show an improvemne

but on the flip side of that - do the current lft detect it?

odx have said they do not need a placing. i think they will get the equipment cheap but not just yet. i suspect the gov will try to keep hold of it on odx property should they ever need the reserve of their lft capacity. however hiring at a suitable price should be possible if colin can drive a decent contract. he should be cut throat with the gov now as there is nothing to lose. if they don't threaten to dump it in the car park....next to the big shadow smelling of tenants super strength.....lol

the only possibility of a placing would be to pay for lft self test in usa. they clearly do not have enough cash at the moment or it will make the purse too empty - very risky - especially with the limitations on dam contract due to lack of approvals.
however by the time they do a feasilibilty study and then apply for self test - the usa market will be swamped. so i think they should forget it as they missed the boat on that one. the pro use approval was another waste of time in my mind - i have been saying for ages

in hindsight another AIM ceo would have pumped the sp when the contract was first announced - got a placing out - and had enough cash for any applications / marketing etc they needed.

a placing is not necessarily bad news if the proceeds will be used to expand the company....i have just loaded up in another company after they have done a placing but it is a game changer.....now bought in at less than the very big boys..so quite happy on that one

in order for one to trade the share has to go up...now the graph is pretty much a vertical drop.

tbh i use this board to vent and work out my own mind and weigh up my investment. if people were confused i don't think it was from my writing - but in assuming or believing others state that i was a paid shorter/working in a boiler room gang/ multiple identities / not invested etc etc. i made it very clear numerous times i was suffering being down by £10,000s but that i believed the gov contract would come through despite colin. the portfolio is great and the opportunity is there. that has been consistent throughout my postings

some feel i may have posted too much on colin - but you have to remember when you are being attacked on multiple fronts every day - if you respond to them you will end up repeating yourself

my attacks were also to hopefully get back to colin - one way or another. or at least build up some feeling towards getting him pushed. he comes across as a decent guy but....

however looking at their track record - eg ncyt - the contract should have been more robust. there should have been a plan b and plan c

There should have been a min figure. i intially thought that £50 -£374m had that written in with the £50m. clearly colin just signed whatever was in front of him .

another lie mate...i constantly said that i believed the gov contract would come through despite colin. that is why i didn't sell the day before the interims knowing that they were more than likely going to be poor. i thought 35p might be on the cards short term. the gutting thing was not expecting the expiry of the contract and calamity's realisation the day before
even i could not have predicted that level of incompetence from him

as for gambler ...i did my due diligence on the company portfolio )(which is great) and the possibility of being awarded a gov contract - which did come true.
i didn't know that i was gambling on colin - which is what it turned out to be.
so yes i gambled and lost.

see it is not so hard to be reflective and admit when you were wrong. i learnt a very very expensive lesson here. i will try and use that learning to make my money back.

the market reaction to the dam deal was not that great as the numbers are low. that was the day before the other competing companies said that CDTA had affected them...two days before colin woke up to the fact - that he still couldn't sell his pro test in uk

the reality is that colin has destroyed the sp long before this disastrous update. look at the graph.. poor rns and tweets. incompetent team selection. incompetent strategy. he could have got away with it if the gov contract had landed. i gambled on that and lost . i bet we end up being the only company that got awarded a potential contract but blew it.

he has signed a contract that he did not even seem to understand - having to check with lawyers the day before interim?
the approvals applications have all been too late for a company that has a great product. every day there is more competition. sooner or later there could be a variant that their assay does not detect and then it will be game over

there have been setbacks out of colin's control. that is business . how you deal with them shows your talent and ability.
