oke - i just think that with hardly any income at present they are very aware of cash burn. they have gone from potentially earning £374m to a few pro tests in spain and mexico. I am discounting the other portfolio products.

CDTA should give some more income as pro test in uk. self test approval in uk and I can see a deal with dam for a large chunk of that 200,000 tests per month if/when LFT makes a return for travel testing. the new variant and pause on lft has also gone against them - though not sure if colin is up to date. memo might be still in his inbox

Colin could have just released the news by quoting the contract it would have held the SP. He could even have done a placing at £1 to get cash for applications (self test usa) or more marketing. even a top up for his sim card so he could speak to gov and OG more often or chase approvals

it is still over priced in my view. it has done well to stay at 25pish - but i suspect that might have been supported by people looking to trade on hypothetical news the gov doing a u turn .

assuming lft come back in fashion - the dam contract could lead to £8m a year if/when self test in uk comes through and they do a deal on this as well as pro test. however dam will prob want exclusive contract - depends if colin wants to bend over as usual

eu self test and some distribution contract would see a huge boost too in my opinion

simon - odx have said no placing and i believe them.

there is one caveat - they dont have enough money for self test approval in usa...hence the feasibility study. if they want to go through with that application there could be a placing - but if they did it could potentially open up a serious market for them . so it would be one of those placings that offers mega advantage, SP usually recovers quite easily from any drops in that situation

personally i dont think they will - or rsather should go for self test usa. they have missed the boat - it will take too long and the market will be flooded with more tests. plus i dont believe they have what it takes - sales team wise
