once ODX went round with the begging bowl it was unrealistic to assume it would be kept secret. the more people you tell the less chance of keeping it a secret. welcome to the real world

marik - anyone looking at the accounts could see they had cash burn issues. the gov pre payment needed to be ringfenced as prudent accounting. they will in my opinion have to pay some if not all back. looking at the staff levels at alva - i suspect it will be most of it - as i think they will be trying to claim staff costs as being covered. with no phase 2 and production the staff costs will not be covered.

as soon as they confirmed they were talking about a placing - it was a done deal. you don't sound the market out if you don't need it. they lied to support the sp get the placing over the line.

the ce was either used as a smokescreen or an unwelcomed present. it is possible the alva sale has been on the table for quite some time

when you were offering to explain the complicated stuff to some of us you should have perhaps listened a bit better and learnt the first rule of AIM - read what an RNS is really saying

it is not the leak that is the issue - but a company that has consistently lied to its shareholders during the last year. busy busy / big things etc etc

FD is not so new and certainly has not added any value looking at the collapse in share price. he has a history of taking companies private - lets hope the market cap crash and dilution is not deliberate

totally agree prime. in a fair world it wouldn't happen. I think existing shareholders should act - but just be careful what you wish for.

prime - no doubt pi helped and swayed the judge. but the court case was already arranged and CA took over. without CA i think it could have been a very different story

prime - the difference with hur is that they had crystal amber as a large II. who would have got shafted as the bod were criminally in my view doing everything for a private take over (bond holders). so CA had lawyers and bod replacements ready to step in. ODX know it is just retail. they have probably misjudged the anger and disruption that could be caused.

quite frankly if the SP is below 5p will the placing even go ahead? or will the flippers bale out at the last moment?

it is a pity that PI can't stop the sale of alva - but as has been already said - will it help things really? the bod would just wind up the company quicker.

the sale has signalled not only a ditching of covid but shows their lack of ambition. they have a factory set up but rather than try to produce anything/ something else they have sold it for a pittance....

tbh whether placing goes ahead or not - the sale of alva is the end for odx. if i still held i would be getting out now.

i have changed my mind - i dont think there has been any forward selling yet . firstly trade volumes too low. secondly i didn't realise that admission of shares not due til march. too long to go

will be interesting to see how they would stack this up against - having significant cash and not needing to raise - that they fed us to inflate the sp and make sure the placing got done

i think this is a token gesture to make it look like they are a decent company and offer shareholders the same opportunity. if they get a bit more coin then great. but i suspect they could not care less.

in reality i suspect the SP will be lower than 5p when the open offer date comes - happens quite a bit

if it is above 5p then they might get a few in for a quick trade or average down

anyone investing in this company needs their head read. total failure to sell a test in a pandemic. complete liars. plus remaining portfolio unlikely to be monetised.

there will always be people who think they can see value where others cant - no doubt the finnCrap note will be dragged out again. but really??
