I haven't looked in for a while so i have no idea when the Heinz site was last up and running.

Some people somewhere are sweating it out is suspect...

They are still down ( i think) so we must be going to see an upgrade/change.

This is an exciting time for me, i am big believer in MM and the team and i hold the view that if THG lands a major client on the Ingenuity side to go along with the 15 year deal announced this year, the rhetoric will change, value will be seen on this side of the business and all bets are off.

Of course my bets are on and it seems to me that we are coming close to a major announcement , if it goes our way i hope that we will re-rate and if it doesn’t go our way well perhaps it will be time to have a re-think on how many i hold.

GL to us all and here’s hoping for a Heinz Christmas pressie., they wouldn’t want their site to be down for a long time so i suspect news is not far away.

Why on earth should he spend more time with Kelso, they had time they visited he was cordial, they have reduced their holding since then.

If they upped to 5 or 10% then OK have some substantive talks but right now Kelso have a proven themselves to be Sellers as soon a the SP rises.

But i think they will do great and so will MM and anyone else who buys Kelso or THg as i am a big believer.

BTW i read everything that is posted and much more besides.

For me the key to a significantly increased valuation and SP is for ingenuity to land a ‘whale’, the investment in this side of the business has been huge and THG swivelled to getting big customers around a year ago( from the top of my head)rather than any old partner.

I believe that we are seeing some traction in that the last we heard was a 15 year contract using all services on the beauty side, we need one on the nutrition side and we will be off to the races.

I think that in the next 3 to 15 months we wail see a major partner or two in nutrition bringing multinational capability to ingenuity, if that happens the SP will rocket away, as Ingenuity will no longer be a negative factor but will be seen a a huge positive.

i then think we will see another full mechanised centre to be worked on for the middle east and australia, to complement the ones for UK and Europe and the States that already exist.

The alternative is to get taken out for a couple of quid or so.

I thought it interesting that the shareholder to express a view in a break up said it in a very positive way leaving all options open.

I have no doubt that MM has substantial support and will easily see of any challenge.

All Imo of course and GL to all holders.

If you held since IPO till it was 32p then you must have had confidence in MM otherwise you would have sold on the way down, he has turned the business around massively in the last two years and there is no need for a strategic review anyone can read what he and the boardr have done and see where the company is going.

All IMO of course and others can disagree and GL to al that hold.

Without checking MM holds almost 29% of THG between his voting shares and non-voting shares, so he can’t really buy anymore here. In fact he bought a million share and gave then away, the RNS making sure that the buy did not add to his holdings.

Perhaps he thinks THG is going to do very well and buying Kelso means more cash for him and his foundation, ( I hope so of course because i have both , very small in Kelos though).

All this MM bashing is Nuts IMO

But we are all welcome to post what we want and GL to all.

Personally I think SOTP is worth well in excess £2.50 and that MM is doing a great job, the company is much changed from when it floated and the last couple of years has seen the greatest of the changes.

The separation of the divisions financially has been very significant especially with the new boss in there stepping down/up from non exec director. ( this is i think answers Observer 15 question the difficulty was pre the separation). the other really significant happening at this tine was the closure of odds and sods parts allowing the focus on three divisions.

The real key to unlocking value , and i think all interested parties are getting involved prior to this, is Ingenuity getting on the path to scale, i think this is beginning to happen, first in beauty because it seems simpler but a couple of biggies are coming Imo and when they do we will see pounds on the SP.

I also think that MM will have the support of a couple of big holders for at least another year /18 months till we see it play out, however if i am wrong, we might see a couple of quid at a well below value takeout for the bid winners to make hundreds of millions over the next 5 years.

The stakes are high and the last takeout from administration for 20 million shows the potential.

If you are holding after posting about THG missing numbers, ( you could very well be correct), then you are mad to hold into results IMO, after a couple of years of misses the SP write down will be at least 15 to 25 %.

If you do hold into the results and there are indeed misses then you should take it on the chin and not moan IMO

I will hold and as ever i won't moan because it will be my own fault for holding, nobody else holds my shares only me.

It pains me to read about individuals thinking that the results will be poor, holding into then and then moaning when the SP falls sometimes up to 40 or 50%.

Just my opinion and oc course do what you will and post a much as you like..

GL if you hold into results as i will need it as well.

Kelo sold at around a pound if i remember correctly, perhaps they are looking for 1 .20 this time, much less than the value i think..

But they must know better than me..

I could go to almost 33% of the companies quoted in the UK and they would say ( quite rightly), they are massively undervalued its not an MM thing.

We are very lucky to have him running the show, otherwise Kelso and a lot of the new buyers would sell at anything above £1.50 , as Kelso have already shown us.

Sometime next year I am sure we will be at my quoted £1,50 and above and all the holders that i hve said will sell , will be hanging on to 80% of their holding and saying how clever am I.

I am a big believer in MM thats why i bout at 32p ..we will see pounds on the share price IMO

I think he is a vey very good CEO, i can't think of many who could have done the complete turnaround of THG in the last couple of years, i am very happy with him in charge and the Board of Directors he has appointed.

I won't bother to repeat the highlights of the last few years as posters who want him replaced won't read them and posters who think he is doing good job know them already.

I wish the SP would get to a couple of quid and the moaners would then leave..but its a free UK so post away and i will have a quiet chuckle.

Kelso will have to sell up some of their holding soon enough IMO, buying on margin is always a risk. ( as no doubt some posters here will already know)

I have no idea but i bought some Kelso yesterday I also bought THG juts for transparency...

Perhaps MM thinks that when THG heads for the skies after Ingenuity starts to show its class, that the holding that Kelso has will rocket in value ...

Or he thinks its a bit of high jinks to amuse all concerned.

I've held PFC in the past a good few years ago, didn’t lose my shirt because i was always nervous about it, always had a huge order book Blah Blah..but never really made any money, i have watched the last few days with interest and thanked the lord i wasn’t in them , i have little confidence that they will recover, but i bought some today just a grand for a bit fun, currently down 30 pounds!!

I am almost certain that there will either wipe out shareholders or significantly dilute them, but you never know..

Back into profit here by a couple of pips, fingers crossed we get a big order in Ingenuity, if so i think all bets are off and we will see a decent SP recovery, as i posted before.

Also interesting the approach to the beauty company in OZ, that and the sponsors ships and the advertising that was posted around THG nutrition ( thanks for that whoever posted it, sorry i cant recall)), seems to show a lot of confidence from THG.

I am still massively invested her so good luck to us all..

next news will be interesting i think.

If a PE company holds 40 % then that’s the target THG are looking at, i wonder what price the PE company has written down the investment if at all.

If they have written down to say 1 dollar, they might bite to get out and move on..that cash can be trapped there for years and if the company doesn’t find a way forward it could be that 40% is tied down and doesn’t improve for ever, THG can integrate and cost costs how much is another matter.

It will be interesting if THG do not say OK game over but hang on in for some discussions.

Good to see THG making a bid IMO
