off the top of my head THG went first to talk and set up in India quite a while ago, not long after Vivek joined if i remember correctly, so deals take some time for sure.

You are correct and I would say that THG needs a partner to support them with said whales, there are some great names as clients and they give THG some of their business and we have some other names that give us all or nearly all of their business

IMO THG as it stands is too small to give the bigger names the comfort that they need to place significant business THG’s way, so a partner needs to be found that has got worldwide strength and recognition...

But that partner can't take all the cake and thats the ‘negotiation’ currently they want all or nearly all the cake and MM doesn’t want that to happen, but IMO a deal will be done at some point.

But its all just speculation and i would suggest that holders that think MM will hold out for what he wants and will let the company slide and so drop in value , should sell .

I have confidence that he wont let that happen but as i say i could be very wrong and lose money.

But thats investing..

Failed strategy.

I can see that we now have three divisions ready for listing separately on any stock market in the world give or take, each division has the complete requirements for said listing.

The areas that didn’t fit into the three divisions were sold off, first of all a couple of areas were sold off and then the rest were ring fenced for review, we all expected them to be retained , but hey MM and the board got rid of them all.

This all happened with a very short time period and the company took huge hit on the values around 500 million if i recollect properly.

the company ha s had s had a complete rework and is now fit for the future, it now needs to find some real revenue for the ingenuity arm and the SP will fly.

IMO a partner will come on board, remember the last company that wanted to take us private , wanted to sell all or parts of the two other divisions so they could focus on Ingenuity...

They or someone else will be back and ingenuity will provide ..

All IMO of course.

PS forgive me for forgetting some names etc as i havent been so well.

Before TGL arrived there as no corporate governance and it took a lot of effort to get MM to recognise that, MM converted to that way of thinking and spent months getting TGL on board a very respected man in the business world, THG now has a properly functioning board with some very high powered individuals in key roles.

There is now no noise about the board , its make up and its functioning as one would expect from a serious company.

And the long stayer has been moved out of key roles, but clearly MM values him and as MM holds almost 30% of the shares personally then I guess thats a compromise that needs to be made,

IMO TGL has done an excellent job and is well worth the money and is due some recognition for it,

But hey we can all make up our own minds and have our own opinions.

The market is selling hard less than a million shares traded today..you might be right or you might be wrong.

I certainly don’t know, but if you can get shares at the price you want very good luck to you..

I will just add, we have 1.5 billion shares in issue of which around 1.3 billion trade with no barriers, the volume in total today is less than 1 million shares so far.

Lots of very concerned investors on here today and in the last few weeks, i am very surprised that everyone still holds but hey ho..

I do hold and as I’ve said i just spent some on THG shares, i also have some cash if and when it hits the 50’’s and even better if it hits the 40’s...

Well i have been buying, but I don’t have soft banks cash...but every little helps at 62 and change...LOL

We have no large institutional holders because of the type of listing which of course anyone who holds the shares knows, so its wait an see till its no longer wait and see..

Crafty- I have not seen that before and it was only 3 months ago, listing takes time energy and cash. Its a useful addition to knowledge, i think some people are frustrated or otherwise, who knows

I was going to comment on some rather IMO misguided posts, but as i have said before we are all entitled to post what we want for whatever reason we can come up with.

For me some big factors are,

So our current listing standard. does not allow ‘normal’ institutions to purchase and so we have limited the range of investment community that can purchase shares, additionally shareholder are putting their faith in MM more so than usual with a CEO of a quoted company, which i am OK with as i am a big fan of MM.

MM holds not far off 30% of the company, that holding plus a couple of loyal holders, the staff fund and the charity holdings makes him invulnerable, no matter what happens he can wait for the type of deal that makes sense to him. So any shareholders here waiting for a takeover at a ‘bargain price’ are overly optomistic IMO.

On director buys, it has been pointed out many times here but there always seems to be some people popping up and saying MM should buy, ignoring the fact that that he holds circa 28 or29 % of the company already. TGL has put in 1.5 million JG has just bought etc.

IMO the company is doing just fine, actions have been taken over the last couple of years that have the business on a very solid base, it is clearly very undervalued IMO and we just have to wait and see if MM can realise the value.

I will say that i am very very impressed with the scale and focus of the changes in the last couple of years, if MM was a poor manager the company would be in administration right now, he has done fantastically well IMO.

Alternatively perhaps he doesn’t care ( according to to some ), if the latter turns out to be true in the next couple of years then i will move on. But TBF i have a low average compared to the historical share price so i am comfortable holding on.

I think ingenuity has been a little misunderstood, and the company have been little over optimistic in timescales, but putting a significant percentage of your sales via ingenuity is a huge risk for a company but now we are seeing one or two sign up i think we will see more movement.

I would rather the SP was over a pound or two rather than under a pound as that can be dispiriting, but we will see where we are in 6 to 12 months and i will review then.

Basically THG need to be listed on an exchange where conventional buyers do business, with the current listing it i s only small specialist funds, wealthy individuals and Pi’s that hold , buy or sell.

Waiting for the LSE to combine the different types of exchanges is taking a long time, so an overseas listing makes sense if thats the plan otherwise its a case of patience..

A very decent sized team from japan, 11 or 12 people don't often see that for a fact finding type meeting, also looked like a team with senior and less senior people.

Omnes - 4.5 million turnover and 6 employees, small new and could be fast growing, an RNS would cause a lot of laughs and hints of desperation.

I am very relaxed, perhaps it will take THG longer than 6 months to show a bit of spark in the SP but i can wait for a while.

Well i just bought some more, 69 and change seems to be very cheap to me...but i have no inside knowledge just my thought on price.

404x The main man here owns almost 30% of the company with the staff fund voting his way he is basically unmovable, the only way he will step down or back is when the SP recovers to perhaps 3 or 4 pounds or he has some sort of major change of mind, so posters that hope and pray the MM will somehow recuse himself is not a very realistic hope IMO.

But each to their own. i think the company is also very undervalued and has great opportunity ahead of it and that future is with MM at the head of the company, but i could be very wrong and it is indeed only worth 70p.

Blinky- I takeout you have sold or are about to sell given your view on the numbers?

I find it difficult to believe that you hold when you feel that the numbers will be very poor?
