If apollo don't do a decent deal, then it will be by either Nestle , Coca Cola or any other big food conglomerate or a big beauty play

At todays price we are valued just under 1.5 billion, if the bid comes at 1.20 p thats 2 billion.

Any big food / beauty company will pay that and more in a heartbeat.

Nutrition goes without saying.

Beauty we have 6 very good brands vertically integrated, got to be worth 400/500 million on their own, given the 5.5 sales pid for Aesop by L’oreal

Either buys one of the arms, sells the other an keeps ingenuity.

Activists are helpful, and IMO the big guys will be watching carefully..the press seems to think THG is a POS, i spoke to someone the other day who invests a lot and i was told to sell out completely , they juts don't understand /want to understand that what MM has built is very good indeed.

No they don't - I am unsure to what you refer to.

I am referring to MM post about ingenuity being fully end to end on the austostore hardware with THG proprietary software, he referred to the need for three software companies.

Ian mcdonald replied to that post by being very proud that two relatively new companies have together been the first in the world to be able to supply said offering to end customers.

Also the implementation manager in New Jersey was very proud to announce that the launch of the fully integrated solution was the first in America and the second in the world.

Secondly i referred to the global partnership recently announced , that was IMO because of said integrated solution, previously when posters made reference to the benefits of the auto store partnership, you were very quick to forcefully ensure that the poster and everyone else reading understood that poster was completely wrong and that THG were merely a customer of Autsostore and not a partner and as such it was of no value.

You then referred me to a very old RNS and investor presentation, from when Ingenuity was still being fully developed, insulating that nothing had changed in the ensuing 18 months.

I found that very odd, for a poster that seems to know all the numbers coming out, was able to set out the recruitment strategy that has never been formally or informally made public, can pinpoint the exact slide in presentations to support your views and have links to senior people involved in the current situation , specifically you mention your relationship with j Gould.

I thought you might point me to something much more recent to support you view that Ingenuity is nothing special and anyone can do it.

As i posted before this is meaningless , but it makes me happy to post it.

Currently Autostere users need three companies to get the thing working with THG they don't, thats a big competitive advantage right there.

But the is no point in discussing it because the Manchester people have it stitched up, as you probably know with you having personal connections up there.

5 years and unfortunately its not going to be us. There has been only one positive mention of ingenuity and a value put on it as far as i can see and that as Lex at 500 million.

Now everyone talks about the world has changed and old values don't apply to that part of the business, but what they don't talk about is how that part of the business has developed over the last few years.

The biggest change is the Autostore global agreement, because that new agreement is based on THG having the end to end software to drive the autostrore hardware.

The chap that was in overall charge of NJ launch said at the end of his post , now on to Denver,

I read up on the Denver launch. it has two software companies providing the software and they also had an integrator that basically stitched it together. The reviews that i read said the integrating company was the best of the top three companies that do these integrations.

The new THG software ( proven) negates the need for all off that cost and complexity.

There are over 1,000 auto store installations world wide..thats where the money is..IMO

the real future is in the software and again IMO they have at least a 3 year window to build that before the other manage to get their act together to join up and compete.

As soon as THG is private i expect MM will do a deal on Nutrition or Beauty and then use that cash to drive Ingenuity with its competitive edge .

It could and should be done as a public company.

I bought some Kelso in the hope that they get the opportunity to roll over and somehow get some of the future value.

Anyway I am moving on to my next IMO undervalued opportunity, i expect to be over 50% down by this time next year , so am making sure i don't get too enthusiastic too quickly.LOL

I just looked at Cemex and its digital offering is Cemex-go used by 53.0000 customers in 21 countries..

I think it’s a very big deal as clearly BATM have been contracted to support these goals , probably around the acceleration aspect of the strategy.

Cemex is very sophisticated in the digital world of business by the looks of things and i think to pull forward the global implementation of Edgillity is quite remarkable.

Quite remarkable i only started buying on Wednesday..

I though the RNS the other day was also remarkable about CEMEX, i worked with and alongside people that were senior in Mutli- nationals , different industries but big companies.

In my experience they are very cautious on implementing new approaches across the business globally without extensive testing, user feedback , and much discussion.

For them to fact track the implementation by a year says to me that the pilot is an outstanding success, and considering that it is the first ever commercial implementation of Edgility, that IMO is even more remarkable.

They go on to say that they are in advanced discussion to expand the edgillity customer base.

IMO they are in a fantastic position in those discussion with CEMEX as the case study.

Of course i am also very happy to have got in this week so perhaps i am being overly optomistic.

OOOOh someone thinks ingenuity has value..

It took years to build that and many many millions, it has been endorsed by the Autostore global partnership..Its the real money maker through time IMO

Proprietary software..in the THG cloud

I just completed my buying this morning, the price was jumping around yesterday so i left it till now.

That’s a decent RNS good solid research behind it and kelso now have 8 million shares including CFD’s ..the value of nutrition is way more than where THG is right now..

I think it could well be all ok. for the minnows.

The chairman has nothing to do with the day to day...look up his role...in fact you can check back my posts where i have explained many times to posters that don't understand, what the duties are of a chairman, both exec and non exec

He will all over the bids with the big shareholders.. Posters like you have little knowledge i am sorry to say.

THG need to get it up and running

Its very big brother but slick as a goose.

I found this interesting, i bought a knife today from a site called sous chef.

It said age verification required, i almost didn’t buy because of scanning documents and so on.

But i wanted the knife, so i got myself ready with all my gubbins, pressed buy.

I got a spinner and 30 seconds later ‘age verified.

If you don't have that for age required stuff you will wither away Imo.

It cost a lot to get my average down..and cost me some angst at times.

IMO -MM wants to be billionaire again, and Sofina and QIA want to triple their money from their average. So to take them out it will need to be 5 or 6 quid a share.

So the way they get to that point is to work with Apollo or AN Other either as a private company or public but on another exchange.

Everyone could walk, but again IMO MM has an investor lined up if it doesn’t work - his ‘rant’ about PE tells the story.

Or perhaps he will delight in leaving PE at the alter as he did last time and go with his alternative plan.

Interestingly I am very happy to have sold some , as my investment is now comfortable in the small chance that it does all become difficult and the SP falls back.
