IMO this will have been signalled to all major Shareholders, it won't have come as about from the blue to them, if there was going to be a major push back the number would be scaled back.

IF it did come as a from the blue, then there will be plenty of briefings going on right now, because the phones will be red hot with questions.

Last week feels an age ago LOL

I was in big boots this morning, its almost 75% beauty, with many brands that have fancy counters, they have significant floor space for boots own brand. Superdrug two doors down was similar but not so fancy.

Boots have expanded their space in beauty significantly in the last 6 months since i last had good look round.

There seems to be a lot of investment in these particular shops.

I think that will show up in their next set of results.

Not saying this happened, but i was close to a company that was getting VC money, all agreed and the evening before the deal was due to be signed, the principal got a phone call saying they wanted another 5% of the equity or no deal.

I wonder if the deal was just about agreed and then Apollo made some last minute changes..

There are hundreds of millions of shares in the free float, if someone came along and started buying to take out say 100 million than the share price would be much higher.

IMO that will start to happen as we move towards the end of the GS and Apollo being able to come back to the table.

Well I bought at 60 and change on Friday morning and i have just bought some more, i see us bobbing along with a high likelihood of spiking up at any time.

But as you know i am an extreme optimist.

The 2.8 statement for wood makes no mention of having the right to buy shares in the group.

THg 2.8 says

Apollo, on behalf of its managed funds, also reserves the right to acquire shares of THG, subject to, and in accordance with, the Code and other applicable regulations.

Could mean something or not..

Rock 8 - Softbank are the biggest shareholder in Autotrore at 38.33%

If there was any bad blood between THG /MM and Softbank , IMO they would not be a global partner.

ingenuity is the real deal IMO , all the papers want to talk about is how rubbish it is as have many many posters on here.
