Afternoon everyone.Does anyone know roughly the split between ASX and LSE holders on this please?

Yes-all three of my junior miners-the others being HZM and PRE, getting hit in the general malaise. Good entry points in all of them, especially PRE where imminent ASX delisting is depressing the share due to Aussie retail selling.

Mining sector generally getting hit and HZM drifting down on low volumes. There have been few buyers in the last few days. Personally if I had spare cash I would be licking my lips now. I hope 8p holds, but Wasa may be reinvesting his house proceeds in the 7s!!

...are really screwing around here. I suggested yesterday that they probably did not want to be short of stock ahead of an anticipated strong trading statement. They have now successfully collapsed the price on a spurious FT article that had nothing to do with NCYT. Many nervous, less experienced PIs would have panicked and sold and probably still are selling because they cannot take the volatility. I feel genuinely sorry for them-they have put their money to work in good faith and got nailed by the MMs.
Let's all hold tight-we will get our trading statement later today or tomorrow. NCYT has confirmed in various communications to Board members that it will be this week.

Also justifies an RNS from NCYT saying they know no reason for the drop.

I imagine the market makers will on balance want to be long overnight of the stock ahead of tomorrow/Friday RNS. Anyone with access to L2 it will be interesting to see how aggressive Numis's market maker is on the bid side today.

Safe-I am equally frustrated, but we are unlikely to hear on financing ,offtakes etc until we have ESIA and mining licence approval-where you correctly state we remain in the hands of the Tanzanian Government. We just have to be patient I am afraid.

The news could drop anytime-that is the risk of being out. When it does come you will not be able to buy in much size. The risk of being in is that it may drag on until March or April, boredom sets in and the share drifts back to low 4s/high 3s.Personally I am a poor trader so am staying firmly in. If it drops to high 3s will buy more.

2030 will not exist-will be owned by Anglos or Vale or another major.To me this is a minimum £10 in 3-4 years if it makes it that far, could be £30-40 in 7-8 years-massive strategic value here.I guess the Angolan Sovereign Wealth Fund holding gives some some sort of protection against predators-but even they will have their price.Also remember only 203 million shares in issue so far.This Company is a very rare find to say the least.

Pensana will generate by far the largest proportion of its value added from the UK separation plant not at the mine. I hope they install high capacity (10kt/y+?) at Saltend for wind and EV demand ahead and also take third party TREO as well as from Angola.

GaisKidney-great name by the way-I could not agree more.This fully integrated approach is great news.I am a new investor and have been building a position on this "gift" of Aussie selling.I looked at the shares at 65p and should have got in then, but to me the shares still offer very considerable upside.Having done a fair bit od DDI am as excited by PRE as I am by HZM one of my other junior resourcenames.Apologies this is not meant as a cross ramp.

I feel this one is so dangerous to be out of at the moment.My fear was that the financing could come in May or June and the boredom factor set in leading to the shares drifting back into the 7s.But now when we hear that there will be news flow on Vermelho in 1H ,which could drop anytime and probably before the A1 finance announcement, it has to be risky to try and trade the share-though good luck to all those who do you are braver than me.
Gower-I agree 100% with your comments re institutions, but I am confidant that once financing arrives we will see a few institutional TR-1s rolling in to soak up trader selling and selling of LTHs who wish to start monetising.

Made the point that they will deliberately only RNS significant news.To my mind very responsible, unlike many desperate AIM resource companies.

Just had the requested call.Key points:
1.Teck-typo error as per VV and TDT posts.Any change in their holding would require an RNS.
2.Covid:
-Both UK and Brazil teams are fully adapted to working virtually.They have a massively comprehensive virtual data room, so no problem that site visits are no longer possible.All necessary banking site visits were completed in March last year.
-All the day to day engineering work can be done virtually without being on site.
-Covid is effecting the on the ground Environmental and Social efforts to some extent.
-Health and Safety measures fully in place for key engineers etc to visit site on a rotational basis when necessary.
3.Financing-still can only guide to completion in 1H, but going very well.Team are experience and have pulled off these sorts of complex financing deals before.
4.Vermhelo-we will get updates and news in 1H.
5.Institutional marketing underway and getting very positive feedback-unsurprising given hard to find pure nickel plays with our sort of ESG credentials.
6.Virtual meeting for PIs-will do this soon after financing is announced.Very aware that they have some large PI holders.

All sounds very encouraging.

I have a call into the Company-they have agreed to talk, but have not given me a time or date yet. I will include this on my list of questions, which are currently mostly Covid related. As I said not sure when I will actually have the call-emailed them Monday and they emailed back Wednesday saying they will get back with time and date.

I am 100% with AtD here this is an admin error. Teck have no reason to sell and with a Board member probably need to RNS.
Any changes to AJ Bell, HL,II etc is just down to investors (or punters) like us buying or selling.
Nothing to read into....but cannot wait to see a proper institutional TR-1...it will happen.
