RE: Araguaia Funding Deal9 Jan 2021 10:09
North,my average here is about 6.5p.I still need more shares to get to my target holding, but do not have the cash at present. So I have resigned myself to the fact that I will be paying between 10-12p for the balance of my shares-I would not want to pay over 12p.We know we have a none binding agreement with a cornerstone equity investor, what we do not know is at what price.I am going to speculate no fixed price, but a % above prevailing market price.I am hoping-and may be completely wrong-that the cornerstone will accept a premium for a size chunk of the equity. If we end up with less than 2,000m shares outstanding we will have done very well. Why would the cornerstone pay a premium? HZM is a unique situation with 3 different assets, the NPV on just 2 of those assets is $3.3bn at a lower nickel price-a strategic cornerstone will see the longterm value and consider it with paying up.Premium deals have been done before-look at N Brown and Saga just last year.
Anyway as said yesterday,I cannot wait to read the details of the deal when it is announced-JM's body language in the last interview said it all to me.
Good weekend guys and thanks for some great posts this week.
