FTO-I looked at Rainbow at sub 10p,but preferred the fully integrated model here.Also more comfortable with Angola (whose sovereign wealth fund owns 23%) than Burundi, although Burundi is by no means a bad place-Paul Kagami is an excellent PM.I think both will do exceptionally well.

As I understand it Paradigm took 76.5 million shares on their own balance sheet. I have no idea if these shares are fungible (i.e. can be converted straight back from TSX to LSE shares),but I hope Paradigm are not just flipping their balance sheet shares straight back into London. If they are we will be down here for another week or so.

FPN2... $32m from Amazonia is included in the $325 m debt. Confirmed by the company.

Totally agree Eloro-unlike many companies there is a very good case for an ADR (American Depository Receipt) listing in PRE.I am sure they are thinking of that and it will happen in time.

Plus it raised capital quickly and efficiently so very good news if you are prepared to take a longer term view.

Completely agree Lignum...but we will also have picked up some quality shareholders.

I am hoping that we start to move up again after the placing and IG selling subsides.
For some reason-on which we can all speculate, but which in time will become apparent the Company decided to move forward part of the financing rather than announce the whole package in one as previously stated. However, I trust the management enough to believe there were very sound reasons for this. The advantage is that we now almost certainly have some sticky long term new institutions on the register, despite a bit of obvious flipping. The size of the recent placement would suggest that none of these instos got more than about £4 million worth of stock-small beer for big institutions. I believe once the full package is announce we will see them adding to their initial positions alongside new institutions coming on board. Do not forget all the shares went to North American clients-probably those of Cantor and Paradigm as Peel have little or no presence in that geography, but Peel do have decent UK institutional contacts and these still have to come on board and will do in time. I am convinced the financing will happen though now probably towards the end of H1.I am also convinced we will see a higher priced equity component when it happens. I am still going for $30-35m at 12p-but again just my speculation. Plus we await news on Vermelho. GLA

I am hoping we will get the Business plan news on Friday.I think they wanted to get the full ASX delist done before releasing it, which makes complete sense.Fingers crossed-should be a good catalyst for the shares.The sooner we get a decent broker note out and some institutional marketing the better.There should be good demand for this share amongst the ESG funds and the broader market.Plus Liberum have a decent US presence-those guys will love this market cap compared to the peers.

The situation at IG is also not helping or any of my positions today.Causing large numbers of traders to liquidate before Friday or put up cash for 100% of their position.As I understand it even if they put up 100% they still have to sell any share on the list by end of March and re-enter via a new broker if they still want to retain a position.B...dy annoying to say the least.

I think you are 100% right on this IG situation GGG-playing havoc with most of my positions today.
Never a good day to sell when there is a technical overhang situation.

MJB-I absolutely stand to be corrected, but I believe the shares could be traded as of Friday's they have been placed.Settlement would be today so you can sell before admission and deliver today.

I must admit,I am slightly surprised by the actual amount of selling in the past few days.Two reasons I would speculate:
1.Some of the placing shares definitely got into the wrong hands despite careful vetting.That will always happen. However,these will have been largely flipped now.
2.Reading the various Boards many PIs were pretty p...d off with the discount and not being offered shares.Many of those may be LTHs with averages in the 3/4s,so have still doubled their money and see this as an exit point.This could last for a few more days, especially as some fear VWAP calculations for the cornerstone-which I very much doubt-I am still going for 12p and a smaller issue.
To my mind fundamentals have strengthened.I have always said I am here for the longer game.I added in the 8.2s on Friday and Monday,but am out of cash again or would still be adding as we will not be offered any shares in the next and final deal.

...gives a (probably last) chance under 7p.Once the brokers and management start talking this update around the share will motor on..that I am sure of.
