Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
redboy33, every little bit helps, good job. The vaccine programme has been a success, I think most people realise this when you compare the whole world, excluding Isreal.
When the european countries needed the gravy train of the EU, the 1st real disaster they have faced, they failed at every stage. Zero forsight, failed people running an organisation who couldn't make it in their own backyard, now preeching on their new perch with a fat pay cheque - I am not a brexitateer, but it shows you are bloodly useless they really are.
https://www.abc19.com/
Why don't they do a video? Videos go viral, not images...missing a big trick here IMO.
Merchantbanker, it will come, its the obvious route to market to insure anyone in the UK, including the millions of tourists, anyone transiting in and out of the UK can have immediate access via OTC - What the hold up is, IMO is the tech which is being worked on in Colindale - BJ, Van T etc etc bang on about data collection, beind data led, Van T has already let it slip on a C4 broadcast - You have to read inbetween the messages BJ etc gives out.
Sharedominator - I won't comment on KNBm but if that is what you think for MGC, my view is you don't understand the cannabis industry in any form - The problem with your statement is it relies on your thinking, unless the SP is alwys going up, it must be a pump and rumpy....You should do some research into the industry, what is has achieved in less than 10 years, yes 10 years and then some comments based around the future of medical cannabis.
NCYT, they are the masters - First in, lots of cash, can buy companies, can employ the top people, can do it all, apart from a walk on Mars....No-one can compete with them and nor should they - That is why Omega are so well positioned short and long term, companies like NCYT will for a long time be ahead of the curve, but they can only run at X capacity, they bigger they get the more they will look to outsource manufacturing - I would be surprised if their long term view is based on manufacturing, there are better areas for them to develop.
RegulatorUK, I totally agree with you - Over the coming days, maybe with-in the next week this is going to come, and the whole emphasis will be on testing and the new slogan of testing. BJ will do a 7pm broadcast on this, his total focus on testing, how to get back to sports arenas, clubs, pubs, the workforce etc and more importantly opening up the country to the 68 billion pound industry called tourism.
Vaccines won't do that - The other big Night Stalker in the bag is the lenght of how long a vaccine lasts and how the booster or re-tweeks work, essentially another jab is going to work - How do you know, each person, know when this is required? Or is it just rock up at the start of October this year, 66 million in the UK alone, if that is the uptake and if the under 16's are included.
Lastly, its pressumption on the 21st June its all going to be a party - Its a suck of the thumb that date.
TWatcher - What you have written has been mostly covered off in the last few weeks on here.
The one question I do have for you, it references the RNS's and tweets, news coming out of Omega in general.
Do you think they, the BOD are lying and everything is being fabricated?
Computer909, that is just presumption on your part - We have no idea where the TT is, what the contract (s) ar, the value of the contract (s) the clients Omega are talking too outside of the UK Govm- We have no idea on their current/today stock volume, meetings with perspective clients outside the UK.
As for what test, we are going no-where - I have no idea how you get to that conclusion, I presume its built around the TT. There was that RNS about the ABc 19 test, maybe there is a clue in there.
You are looking or an RNS on a TT and contract to help you justify your investment - It will come, you need patience in this game.
Anyone else think the mindset of traders and some investors are a bit mental - I am pretty sure the whole BJ speech narrative was built around the vaccine last night, get a vaccine or else! Testing was mentioned serveral times, even this coming winter along with testing - schools, colleges etc, twice a week. If tesing or LFT was mentined 5 weeks ago everyone would be having a hard on.
Last night was all about 'not blurring the message' ie: the vaccine. Why would they want to hammer on about testing and confuse the 'message'. Its clear people can only absorb one narrative at a time - That is why its called 'headlines'
He made it clear in the following days to come he would be talking about testing, sports events etc and how to open this part up.
Ready - Test - Go
Watch that appear on that little podium leans on.
Living with the virus - Page 59 = Long Term
196.Like some strains of flu, COVID-19 is a relatively mild illness for much of the population, but it is more dangerous to vulnerable groups. The Government will ensure the country can live with the virus in the longer-term without imposing restrictionswhich bear heavy economic, social and health costs. The outcome of the four programmes of work set out in chapter 3(large events, COVID-Certification, international travel and social distancing) will inform Government policy on living with the virus.
197.In addition to a comprehensive revaccination programme, set out in chapter 2, the Government will also use the Test, Trace and Isolate system to keep the virus in check. This includes regular asymptomatic testing in sectors with the highest risk of transmission, as well as testing in the workplace to help protect employees from infection and keep businesses open. The UK has already stepped up domestic production of lateral flow tests. As set out in chapter 2, the Government is also investing in bolstering domestic vaccine production capacity across the whole of the UK.

Building a Test, Trace and Isolate system for the future
163.As regulartesting will have a key role to play in future, the Government is working to establish an effective private market for tests. Providers must meet a regulatory framework sothat the public can have confidence in these tests and the Government will set up new validation processes for new tests to the private market.
164.In time, it is possible that testing becomesa viable alternative to self-isolation for contacts of infected people. The emergence of new variants has meant this is not yet feasible, but the testing programme is being primed to deliver this when the time is right. The evaluation, which has thus far involved around 12,000 people across 21 organisations and 180 sites, will be expanded in the coming months and include a large-scale programme with schools.
Alamin36, and there is the problem. I am LTH, its been painful to say the least and for a lot of LTH's the blockchain tech is where the value lies. A goverment contract will fund fundamentally change the landscape - It never made sense for the Badminton contract to genrate any real income, but from testing and ironing out issues it did.
This is the problem with gov contracts, unlike the private sector - You can't talk about it, ODX holders know all about this!
sledgey121, I saw a lot of fighers in late 80's in Ko Tao and Ko Phan Ngan, tough small guys. I spent some time in Vietnam with my brother, we had left SA after our 2 year stint in the SADF, my brother spent a lot of time learning various hand to hand skills. Good for the mind. I got into Thai Chi plus the bo wooden stick, you need to keep moving at our time of life.
Junior2020 - 'I dont think it will rise to the same extent as Av and its manufacturer How could it'
How do you get to that point?
If I look at a lot of the top bmanufacturers out there, take Ford, Apple, Siemans, Panasonic, IBM etc - What I see is they make the majority of the money short and long term - manufacturers can go in many diretions, distributors, wholesalers, retailers can't due to how their model works.
Vascular- very true.
Take Europe, not exactly going well. Portugal has done 200,000 people as an example. The UK tourism is worth a staggering 68 Billion pounds - So the UK is Vac by July/Aug - Brilliant - Then come Oct by what we read the top up jab - What happens to the tourism industry, is the UK going to state if you don't have a Vac you are not coming in - I don't think so, what is more likely is that you will be tested before you arrive, tested at hotels (which they are screaming for) resturants, cinemas etc etc - I am pretty sure there will be different tests, the tech will get better and different testing solutions for different events/occasions will be used. Its not a closed shop to LFT for me anyway.
That is the beauty about manufacturing, easy to expand and easy to pick up new tech with new companies as we move forward over the coming months/years.
1965Kevin, there is nothing new, its a member taking time out to speak to CK on behalf of this BB - I am sure CK is busy, he doesn't need to entertain share holders, that is for the RNS's.
For the question if BigJock is real, telling the truth or pulling it out the sky is down to members to work out, some posts on here yesterday referred to this. Personally I believe he has made the effort to speak to CK -Everything adds up and is what LTH's would expect to see. Fair play to him for spending hours to do this, reassurance is what share holders want and a CEO who can take time out to deal with the q's.
Thanks BigJock, top effort. - Its great to see that there are lots of members on here who want to help each other, regardless of what their long term exit strategies are. I am sure the 'smell' will arrive today and come out with the usual drivel.
Ehsan, nice 1. As we have discussed, its a smart move by MXC - I don't think a lot of the general public realise how prominent white label goods are - In the UK there is a company called Body Shop, they would be a good example of ArtemiC™ being white labelled, a change in the name with the T&C name hidden on the back packaging. White labelling = licencing, another way to look at it - The other USP for MXC, time - You can't buy time, let MXC concentrate on the core business.
https://www.crescolabs.com/about-cresco/ - Cresco main core business is white label, THC products, masters at the game - The big expenditure is not the product, its the branding, distrubtion via sales teams along with advertising - That is what sucks up the millions.
I mentioned earlier, you need to be very careful when reading a Huff Post. Maybe we should be looking at the 16th Feb RNS on ODX - On the 15th Feb many people where stating AbC-19 test was dead in the ground, hmm. On the face of it the test is being re-submitted, who really knows unless you are on the circle of knowing.
Ehsan- I would say yes, this is just a test order, iron out any issues and place the product in selected stores, or a selected customer of theirs for end user feedback.
Swiss PharmaCan, I suspect they have direct access into the big pharmacy chains in Europe and beyond by looking at their range of existing products - Health stores and Pharmacy, that is where this product will sell at its best, probably why they where chosen.
They are not a big company, at the best 200 employees, which means the MXC product won't get lost with thousands of other products- That is always the risk with distributors, they carry far to many products. Looks like they have made a wise choice using them.
