Good news for all LTH's. The sales team must of been busy sending off samples, zoom/email follow ups, with the intention of getting as many as the initial sample order into retail an online stores. You would think the sales team where over whelmed with interest, then upped the order contract. Hopefully they are spreading the orders, rather than just giving X/Y/Z large orders, all clients being on an MOQ so everyone gets some stock.
Bear in mind, when the product hits the market with the PR, the repeat orders start to come in - That is the key, if each outlet is selling out, then they each outlet will repeat the order, and ususally will double their 1st order. You would expect more RNS's over the coming months on this product alone, each one being higher in $.
Innova got these contracts, the latest I can find - 3 x 722 million, different dates.

sledgey121, BJ's message on the vaccine narrative has done its job - Spoke to a few mates over the weekend in London, they said it was crazy with people, everyone left properties and went out - BJ's work on the Vac is completed, the message has sunk in, once you have had your 1st jab you won't get a serious illness, no hosptial and you won't die. From what i understand the vaccines are effective on the Brazil variant, the vaccine works in the sense you will not end up in hospital, which has been the game plan for the last 10 weeks.
I would suspect the psychologists advicing BJ/Cabinet are aware of this, and people are going to go out and be 'free "I am all right jack, I have had my Vac" human nature. You would think now the R rate in the next 3 weeks is going to rocket, in my mind i have no doubt - But as long as you don't end up in the NHS, that is OK.
That leads onto testing now, the new narrative which will be push down your throat for the next few months, you can see over the weekend the narrative from No.10 is starting to change, and the mass media are picking up on this. Over the course of this week testing will start to be drilled into the public, I doubt BJ will announce anything on testing this week, he needs the budget out the way - and a further 5 million jabs would be a nice USP for him.
I think next week is the big news week on testing, (unless the budget is shxt poor and they want to bury news) and then we are off. I don't think he will delay, if the weather is good this coming week and weekend, he is going to be forced to make a big announcement.
Ready - Test - Go
Aberdeenman, correct, typo mistake...its 162,000 in total.
As of 2019, Royal Mail employs around 162,000 permanent postal workers, of which 143,000 are UK based roles, and 90,000 are postmen and women.
Morning Lovejoy, the good news is the NHS employs 1.2 million, I read their budget is a 100 billion a year, but not sure if that includes the cross over with private funding. You would hope all of those staff are tested twice a week. John Lewis employ 100,000, Arcadia Group 50,000, Royal Mail 17,000, if you fancy a pair of Clarks shoes they are on 15,000....A lot of people are going to need a lot of tests!
First poster, bought some shares a few weeks back.
Personally, I would be highly surprised if this is to do with NL - NL will more than likely go onto the main market - The connection with Ocado I am not sure of - https://www.theguardian.com/business/2019/jun/10/ocado-invests-in-vertical-farms
Veritical farming is used in the cannabis industry, you do get better yields but its not wide spread - Growing high grade THC comes with its own challenges, not all lend themselve to V farming. Plus you need an out, who buys the product?
Will Ocado go into Hyrdro for cannabis? That is possible in this new climate, but will shareholders agree at this stage of the game, not sure - Plus, hyrdro is hydro, its equipment, not growing - The other issue being you need a Home Office license, there are two on the market, and GWP owns one.
bakky, that would make Andrex shareholders happy....hard to call what direction the Gov contracts will do, private, its get in line and pay up front, little need to have an account at this stage.
bakky, its a good point, what goes where and when - Is it they majortiy goes to the UK Gov for the Q2, that cash is used for more expansion into other contracts outside of a Gov contract - I saw your comment yesterday thinking that the Gov won't give out larger contracts, SS with 500 million - If that is the case, there is more wriggle room for Omega.
The USA trademark post today is another strand, I think I read that Biden is using 1 trillion plus for Covid, no idea on the numbers for testing but you would think its going to 10/20 billion plus.
Its going to come down to eggs in basket with CK/BoD - One egg or a number of eggs, I hope its a number of eggs for the short/long term flexabilty.
Good find Gazza4563.
These are the guys that took care of the processs - https://www.michaelbest.com/
I see they also do - https://www.michaelbest.com/COVID-19
Maybe there is a partnership opening up, they are advicing, maybe this leads to sale of tests - https://www.michaelbest.com/Practices/COVID-19-Resource-Center/Return-to-Work-Strategy
Cavity - Is that a problem? I look at that as a solution to be solved buy Omega - Expansion - In 6/12 months time when Omega are doing 2 mill a day, it still won't be enough - As you say there is not enough tests, but you also need to balance this against the BJ rollout, this is why tests are not available to everyone, only specific groups - UK Gov can only roll out a programme with the amount of product they have in stock, as the stock goes up, the testing programme will expanded so more and more people can have access.
There are 40 million plus tourists that visit the UK - All these people will need access to buy a test, hopefully at entry, airports to start and access to buy on the high street, hotel chains etc.
The UK Event Industry In Numbers - https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/blog/academy/uk-event-industry-in-numbers-ds00/
The events sector is worth £42.3 billion to the UK economy in terms of direct spend by event delegates, attendees and organisers.
Testing is here of a long time, severall billion a year on testing is nothing when we start to compare what the economy numbers, its peanuts. For Omega its massive, for us investors its a once in a lifetime ride with a end destination.
The testing mesasge will start, the issue being that the UK Gov realise that the British public in general, fed by the mass media have become sheep - They cannot deal with more than one message at a time, it gets to confusing. The psychologists employed in the backround understand this too well.
Drip feed is the name of the game - How can BJ do a briefing live on national TV, talk about Vacs, and then mention testing/example being....."and we are also rolling out our testing programme, if you are tested twice a week and don't have the virus you can live your life, and now I want to talk about antibodies and when you will need a top a jab"... Imagine the response by the media, the 101 questions, the opposition, Labour, questioning and pulling this apart, its all mixed messages = Meltdown!
There is a narrative at the moment and has been since Jan, get vaccinated - And its working, close to 20 million, remarkable when you really think about it and compared to what the world is doing - And that is why the narrative on testing has not been rolled out IMO.
They know, the UK Gov that the over 60's was always going to be a very high uptake, and easy sell, they have lived a life, expecially the over 70's and have seen what happens when people who do not take a vaccine for x disease.
They also know very well, the real fight for uptake is going to get started for the 18 - 50 years old, they have lived a life without the diseases that the over 60's etc had before vaccines. The uptake will not be as high.
So now we enter the world of testing, the new narrative that will probably start in two weeks after the budget, as well as insuring that close to 30 million have had their 1st jab - They also know, to re-vac, they need testing so each of us knows what antibodies we have, so there is not a continous rollout of yearly jabs - Why, because the rest of the world needs the vaccination, if not mutations etc - There is not enough manufacturing and the war on IP's has started.
My personal view is that this company, along with a couple more will make investors life changing money, and these events do not come round to often.
bakky, too true. I spent a few years in mainland China, I came up with a concept called Cannabuds Giftware - I was working in this factory making designs, molds etc and living on site - The owner I got to know quite well, every Friday he took me, few others and his head team out to a resturant - Before dinner, the electicity guy rocked up, brown envelope, the waste disposal guy, brown envelope, the local cops, brown envelope and on it went - Every single Friday, even though he paid the companies - No pay, no play he used to say.
Bit more subtle in the UK - In SA where I grew up, corruption is key for the country to run, even Eskom the main electricity supplier , the bribes and brown envelopes, that is state owned - It will make you fall off your chair with what go's on.
RegulatorUK, I don't think you will ever stop it, this example yes, but they will just move on, there are a hundred and 10 thousand ways to skin the cat, this is being going in some form since the first humans left African and went to China - Corruption, back handers, favours, what the name tag, its in the fabric of society at every level.
I tried camels hump steak in China, came with a fried egg on top - I had a go, got my chainsaw out - Not recommended. You got to do it, hundred ways to travel, just got to do it. When this crap is over, I am heading east, Gobi desert, then I will ship to Oz and either go on the ship or fly over, all depends now on what this winter brings with CV19.
Fourfiguresbull, maybe 2/3km, depends on the conditions - Best not to look, thats my approach, that is for driving, the rest you have a full solar set up, lith batteries, a genie for back up - So just diesal for driving.
Cheers guys - Unimogs are good, but they are limited to space for the body, but for off road, they are best of the best - Google Hellgeth Unimog, German specialists for Unimogs - In Oz these guys are kings, if you are there defo worth renting one and going off - https://www.unidan.com.au
MAN trucks give you a bigger cabin/living space, you can go up to 8 meteres, I think from memory Unimog is 4.5 metres max - MAN do more or less the same job off road as Mog, but a Mog can litereally get anywhere, used a lot for logging and electrice wire work on hills. Its all a balance, everyone is on their own journey - The advantage of a MAN is security, wildlife or people, its not easy to get in.
I think companies like Royal Mail will need to test, a lot of staff are off - I think big companies will need to test to work out who is and who isn't taking the p-i-s-s

Ohmni, nice - Breaks up from the usual drivel over the past weeks.
JAdam, as far as I know, yes. But I am not in the UK, I am on a world tour stuck in Portugal - I use one as I know the guys in NZ from back in the day - For me, it needs the re-charge, no oil, gas, built like a tank etc which I need due to storage - I have one of these - https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?vanity=UnicatExpeditionVehicle&set=a.3349201898458259
If I need trial bikes I just rent one locally where ever I am, saves a lot of hassle for me.
I am into my bikes, KTM I like to ride - Google Monchique, Algarve.
You can get these in the UK now, I think they are for rental - https://www.ubcobikes.com/eu/
They are a blast, solid as a tank and you can really smash them around on the mountain passes.
