BeffJezos, I think that is is bang mate - This is a long steady ride with a 'real' med company in the sector. This is a long hold for early investors, the trick with this company is understanding the cannabis industry, not the hype.

neon, worth doing some digging around, CB is the buzz word but its not going to be where the real action is. CBD was discovered in 1942, American chemist - Funny enough a British chemist discovered CBN - Anyone LTH's should read up on CBN, not CBD.

Stick a label of CBD on LSE and the traders go mad - EVE had signed up with Sana Lifestyle, under their umbrella they have several CBD brands - Makes sense, mattresses, CBD = sleep, old news - Next it will be a company selling hammocks.

After years of no listings (just GWP in this sector) you get two. If you look at the difference between this company and KNB, who is better placed as of today/on what information is the public domain - You have to say MXC for a number of reasons. MXC BoD/I do hope someone from the company reads the boards and get a feel of what SH's are saying, as well as keeping a close eye on the KNB board - KNB have done an excellent job on their PR, if I was in the BoD of MXC, I would be looking at who was in control of our PR - And today there is the difference, PR - KNB have (if we go by what we know) a Vape with a Cartridge - Not practical for med users, expensive way to administer. Personally I think the MXC PR machine could of been better handled, especially with the mass online media.

The KNB PR is based around the pen, I think a lot of investors are being pulled in on that and don't fully understand the medical cannabis worl, but understand the recreational side, hence the SP flying - If it was recreational for coffee shops, fine - But then if it was there are many, many other companies not listed who could supply the same product and there is not listing. As I said, if I am right, then its very clever marketing, backed up with fantastic PR - But when all is said and done, numbers on a PnL/Balance Sheet - contracts.

From what we know of MXC, the RNS and from Oz, they are better placed IMO - That is not to say KNB don't have something more going on, but I still cannot see how you can take a Vape pen with cartridges and go an get big med contracts - I am sure when the hype dies down, the SP (unless there is a RNS which states contracts or other products RnD) will start to slip back, quite a bit.

If we bring it down to the basics, what the RNS's state, the numeruos tweets from the company, and the expansion of assets, staff and warehousing and the dil due by BB members (believe it or not) - That to me from having a bit of knowledge of running a business tells me something is cooking, 200 staff is a big number - Just to run them, HR, Ops Managers, employees contributions, pension of 4%, toilet roll....

200 staff @ 18K per year is £3.6 million plus NI, plus 4% - Plus overtime, cover for holidays, sick time, and the train smash of growing that quick with that amount of staff. Call it 4 million costs for staff, plus everything else on top to run the company - Then the bigger wage packets, BoD etc.

I go back to the BoD, either they are winding us up with the staff numbers or its the truth - That is the question PI's should be asking themselves, if the answer is they are 100% above board then 1+1=2 and your investment pot will grow.

JAdam, there is another way to look at it - Park the tax incentives that were discussed yesterday to death - One of the BoD on AVCT sold before Christmas to buy a new house - There are plenty of other examples of people with-in BoD's selling and good news follows - When is there ever a good time for a member of any BoD to sell, from a PI's point of view, probably never - If they had sold out at £1.15m or dare I say £1.50 (if it comes) (or more) then what? If CK sells at X price and contracts are in place, then the rumour mill would suggest the he knows something, and knowing how BB's work it will be all gloom and doom, and down goes the SP.

Its either tax, advice from tax experts, they fancied a new extension, a new car, boat or scooter, or the BoD decided to get this out the way because they don't want the SP effected/if/when the contract news rolls out with the TT etc. All conjecture as we know.

Its either trust in the research, as you have often written, trust in the BoD in what they say or sell up, not really much more that a PI can do.

What makes you think Kanabo is the big one? There are a number of vape pens with cartridges on the market, when I look at Canada, parts of the USA as an example the market is becoming saturated. I am also unlcear to their route to market, unless they have a contract (s) in place with the NHS, which from my understanding is not the case.

I have read the Publication of Prospectus & General Meeting, it states they UK and Europe are ready to 'embrace' They already have, Germany is a closed shop, UK the same, Portugal, Spain - I don't see the route to market - I have noticed though they mention CBD - The other issue for me, medicinal cannabinoids is not generally vaped, its recreational for vaping - The reason being THC vaped does not stay in your system, maybe an hour. Its not cost effective, most med users will place under the tongue.

This is why MXC are going to do well. Its a med product in the sense its a medical product, there is no smoke and mirrors - https://norml.org have done numerous studies with universities, as well as in Canada for a very long time on how the body ingests THC, how it works in the endocannabinoid system of humans.

The other concern being, GWP can just knock this out in 5 minutes, its not rocket science - Its not expensive to create a vape, you can go to X company, white label the product. Producing cartridges is simple, its been going on since 2009 from the vape world, I know many people who produce cartridges in Spain for the dispensaries - Willie Wortel in the Netherlands was running classes on this years ago, one of the reasons the underground med scence in the UK has cartridges.

I am not here puttiing down Kanabo, but I need to be convinced its not being hyped - If it was recreational, and they had a gateway to supply authorised coffee shops in the UK, I get it - But that is for the future.

Looks like their plan is the medical route - Its about contracts with-in the NHS if they are going to target the UK, it won't be easy to do with GWP owning the show - But, with Covid, there is a lot or pressure on the goverment to have contracts go to tender, rather than just GWP, which have UK MP's backing them.

I think its a clever move floating, there are a number of companies who can do exactly what MXC do, but they cannot get any contracts, its all fixed - MXC are in much better postion due to the float, they can't be 'ignored' and I would suspect they will get a bone - Once you got one bone, you get another - Otherwise MXC can go to the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), and start kicking up.

Plus, you have the German market and Tilray have just landed a nice contract in Portugal - MXC, I bet they get the Malta contract, small in numbers, big in statue, a nice USP to float about in meetings.
