RE: Searching for credibility4 Dec 2020 14:45
DavidLaw - I agree on TW, the CEO should not be giving oxygen to him/no doubt he put a line out an got a bite - TW has no creditabilty from what I have read, I am not signed up but I do know several people who aren't idiots he think is a doos (look that up in Google)
The R rate, 50% - You could be right with the R rate, as long as the virus does not mutate or can jump from other animals (mink) and the vaccine lasts for a year...if its a 6 month vaccine, then I stick by what I said earlier. CV hits the older generation the most, but it hits plenty of people under 50 and long covid is an issue. You will know better than most, viruses adapt, and CV will adapt as I mentioned early. And because of this, testing is going to be here for a very long time, I personally don't agree with a two year window - Businesses, II, VC's etc do not invest in short term companies in general, takes a good 2/3 years to get any decent exit, 5 in Europe seems to be the norm. VC's, II do not panic in general. Something is going on under the table in regards to testing, the longer term project, we are not hearing the full story with CV19, there is a lot more to come, I believe.
Lunsam, cruise ships will happen, with DVRG leading the charge - Is the Caribbean islands going to allow people to roam around without agreements in place from the cruise companies for outbreaks? They would be mad, same for holiday makers flying in - Zero infrastructure to deal with mass breakouts with the locals, the emphasis has to be placed on the cruise companies, airlines. £4 bucks a day, peanuts and few less lobsters on board.
You also have closer to home, Brittany Ferries who run to France and Spain - trucks, holiday makers into Santander/Bilbao - Brexit - How does this work, who is going to ensure (even if its only 2 years till CV is under control) that the people on board, including the staff are all CV free - Everything comes back to testing. If the CEO is not talking to Brittany Ferries, he should be.
Mining companies, take SA/Joburg which I know well - Miners don't go home as they do in the UK, they stay near the mine in prupose built facilities, thousands. Not just from SA, Nambia, Bots, Zim all work in the mines, there will have to be stuctures put in place to protect them and the people they return home to...another massive opportunity. Its endless, its down to the CEO, the sales team to get contracts via goverments or listed/private companies - If there is a value for companies, ie: keep the workforce going/insurance premiums reduced/whatever, then you would think its a brain dead decision for them to take on DVRG.
You would think insurance companies next year are going to have some wonderful add on's, just as they did with the terrorism risk insurance act/a nice little earner - All this and lots more will put the onus on companies across the board - Back against the wall time - What can they now do to cover ourselves - TEST.
