If I was in charge of this co. I would regard that as harrassment,just perhaps they are concentrating on the science of diagnostics which they seem to be pretty good at.

I visited the Valneva plant a few days ago and spoke to some people,the future of this company (again linked to France!) is bright, they are currently making major improvements to the drainage system in response to new regulations and vaccine production is in full swing towards providing !.5 billion doses shortly.Gordon Brown is surprised by the incompetance shown so far,I am not! This government's reliance on the "vaccine mantra" is disgraceful when they turn down opportunity to export under agreed previous contracts,the unbelievable truth!!!!

"Not fit for purpose" well said,reliance on home testing is a farce. I was asked for a negative innova test recently at an event.I handed in an innova lft to which I had added buffer alone without swabbing, result! ?PASS!
I ask myself (having previously performed the test by eluting the swab in the buffer several times over the last few months)how many people do just that?
The FDA told the people to dump these tests as they are useless,how long must this continue?
I have no doubt that the tests developed by Novacyt for antibodies and covid antigens will take off as pcr is proving expensive to deliver with an incompetant government trying to force prices down,our NHS is doing a grand job atm and will continue to do so despite creeping privatisation.
The chickens will come home to roost when this dispute is resolved.

I am encouraged by their antibody diagnostics tests which will help study of why some have resistance squired naturally or as a result of long covid. The flu season is coming and flu does result in high fatalities, treatments will therefore depend on winterplex. Although the current escalation in the delta variant (ro as high as 6) is a worry to all ages early diagnosis is paramount.

Throughout this pandemic the government position on health messages has been constantly changing to suit the political narrative,surely people can see this now.Today we hear of the 50% of covid cases which result in permanent organ damage to lungs,liver and kidneys.This added to the unprecidented strain on the NHS coping with the backlog of pending operations and treatments, in turn this awful government is offering derisory payrises for the staff whilst lining the greedy pockets of companies involved with ppe and testing etc.The Innova scandal highlights this,self testing is bound to be fraught with difficulties and in my view only antibody testing will result in a realistic measure of resistance to this dreadful virus,of course this will involve "finger prick" tests,like diabetics are used to and this may not be acceptable widely as we are generally not "taking personal responsibility".
Mass events and nightclubs are not going to diminish transmission, the varients are reimerging all over europe,asia and the americas,Nova is well placed as we are heading for a global meltdown on the stockmarket,hold fast.

Agree , just been to local test centre for LFT (innova) and informed it was negative, was also given a box of 7 to take away.
When I asked the staff if they knew about the USA experience with innova they looked shocked.

S and s are defined scientific measures and therefore objective.it is the interpretation which companies use to promote their product,of course accuracy is determined more by laboratory procedures which cannot be guaranteed in “home/school environment “ etc.
This government will never admit they got it wrong over innova,the USA did and proved it.
They create smokescreens to cover their incompetence
