The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Has anybody in government considered this ? “The remarkable aspect of these estimates is that vaccination has a very small effect (7.4 to 18.9%) on the risk of becoming infected and subsequently symptomatic—despite providing substantial protection against severe illness and death. In terms of personal risk, this means it may be wise to consider yourself at the same risk of contracting coronavirus when doubly vaccinated as prior to vaccination—even though you are less likely to be hospitalised or die. “
Do these posters actually READ what has been painstakingly written about this dispute, regarding reagents supplied by nova?
A lecture in morals and syntactical accuracy I do not need, anyone who has the time, whilst drinking expensive wine, to post over 9000 contributions to this board is “no friend of mine” as father ted said about the pope.
Yep a case of 6 for £1337, I get my Chardonnay from the coop at £6, do you know of anybody tracked and traced? At a cost of £37 billion of taxpayers cash,we are indeed led by donkeys.
Fake fit to fly certificates, a banker as health minister, virtually herd immunity, cases climbing, hospitals running out of oxygen and refusing patients, a bumbling fool as pm, can it get any worse?
“ faulty goods”
Where did you obtain this information?
On what basis?
Shelf life etc?
I look forward to your reply
The VIP lane and private emails used by ministers demonstrate just how this "government" has corrupted the very soul of the NHS, the dispute attests to this also,it is simply an attempt to save face on the petty excuse that reagents used in nova's tests had a certain shelf life which they weren't aware of when accepting the order (?).
There will be more shenanigans to come no doubt
This shower were not prepared for a pandemic of this nature and were, and still are, panic buying like the queue for toilet rolls at the start of brexit.
They now have an ex banker in charge who is obviously in the "herd immunity" camp, yet here we are dancing round the uk as if it's not happening, yet cases rise as the virus mutates and the vaccine companies work on boosters,we will be playing catchup for some considerable time hopefully led by science and not donkeys.
Further questions need to be asked about how Government came to spend over £3bn – without any competition – with Innova, whose testing kits have been described by the US Food and Drug Administration as “presenting a risk to health” and subject to “the most serious type of recall.” Good Law Project understands extraordinary new revelations about Innova will emerge in the coming days.
Like any market, supply and demand, the mm’s make money either way, it’s the bid/offer spread. It’s not rocket science after all to keep records of what was sold or bought for each trade.
Ct value refers to pcr tests in that the viral load is inversely proportional to the rna load of the sample,it refers to the number of heating cycles that are used to determine the accuracy, a limit is set abitrarily at say 25 any viral load obtained higher than that denotes an inaccurate determination,ie you cannot rely on the pos or neg result, hope that clarifies.
It's all happening on the avacta board this morning due to an rns. Some contributors to the chat shop are talking about Ct values and how good their LFT is plus bashing novacyt's test "sensitivity" at around 90%. Ct figures relate to PCR tests as Ct is in inverse proportion to the RNA load of the sample. The Innova LFT tests are widely known to be 50% which means they are useless and confirmation of a positive result using PCR is a waste of resources as around only 50% will be confirmed.
Professor Russell Viner ex president of the Royal College of pediatrics and child health states in the Telegraph today calls for "early accurate PCR tests".
Pale rider thinks it’s bizarre
Yes a chunky buy that, shorters made a few p today, pcr tests still on the increase, LFT and antibody tests to come, hold tight folks

So,if you want to go to majorca for a holiday it's easier to book a pcr test than to get a vaccination certificate which appears nigh on impossible, has anybody here got a certificate?
tried to get this certificate online using my unique username on my original letter of vaccination, fail again!
the website does not recognise this and demands a password which I have never had, a request to renew my password also fails....doh!!!!!!!
tried to get a vaccination certificate for flying today,I am currently number 179 in the queue!
having been on the phone for 20 minutes already,my estimate to get this letter is 3 hours at least,
being an 0808 number it's free, just as well.
You are correct re promate, also their precaution to include a viral inhibitor to reduce risk, having been a hospital lab technician I can attest to a certain “sloppiness “ in this domain. Recent evidence of self administered LFT tests points to the required care for processing bio molecules and nova provide support to achieve accurate results. This dispute is imho an excuse to blame a company who have shown they can accept feedback on procedures and improve diagnostic testing unlike the Las Vegas boys behind innova. Hold
Hand on **** has gone, yippee!
