RE: Covid-19: What do we know about the delta omicron recombinant variant?27 Mar 2022 12:41
Sharestack, interesting article from the BMJ.The scientific community warned of this recombination phenomenon,in fact it is exactly how vaccine defences are constructed.Previous experience with the influenza adenovirus shows the evidence for this as new combinations are developed every year or so.
We hear that Pfizer are working on a new booster to deal with these new "deltacron" varients, this is seriously some question for them, which varient for example?.
This coronavirus is now generally accepted as being "created in a lab" with a genetic trace only found in humans (I believe a common string of 24 or so base pairs in the RNA of the covid19 virus). The "coincidental" appearance of this string in research documents published by Moderna points to this hypothesis.
At least now there is more discussion and information around,gp's talk now of treatments but deliberate when it comes to treating younger people, quoting only the "vulnerable".
The long term effects of this virus are obviously unknown as yet,I suspect brain disorders, fatigue and other common ailments but don't forget the major causes of death are
High BP,Smoking,Obesity,Diabetes,Air pollution etc, luckily Alcohol is number 10 on the list!
