I resolve not to invest in AIM ever again. Honestly, FUM is the smallest investment in my portfolio, and yet I find myself constantly checking the BBs for the latest goss, even more often than I look at the FTSE! I really don't need the stress of watching my holding shrink by the week, whilst constantly being told this is a 10 bagger and so on. Has anyone done research on AIM to find out what % of companies actually end up multi-bagging?
Having said all that, after a fairly hefty loss on IMM, I resolved then never to repeat and here I am! At least this time I've kept my investment fairly small and can look at the roller coaster that is FUM's share price with a wry grin. Where's Formul this morning to cheer me up with his unbridled optimism?

My last post was just a little joke!
As I posted yesterday, I think this bubble from last week's offer has definitely run its course, and it's going to be a bumpy ride until FUM issues some news. Whether people want to average down is entirely up to their own confidence in the company. Personally I'm going to hold, at least until some news comes out. They haven't exactly filled me with confidence thus far.

Nah, never seen hazrat de-ramping, just telling it like he sees it and refuting the wacky claims of the rampers. Also, the only opinion he's ever subscribed to has been "No Opinion", never "Strong Sell". Don't know why you rampers make such erroneous claims which can be disproved at the click of a button.

As Formul says, "make up your mind's!!" Filtering is probably a very good idea when he comes out with "Holding strong!! Can only mean one thing!!" at 0842, when the SP was dropping like a stone. And at 1322, "This will start flying soon!!" while the price was still dropping. Make up your own minds indeed, and whatever you do, treat the rabid ramper's comments like the joke they are. Me, I'm holding and waiting for news.

I reckon the bubble caused by the placing last week has now burst, and we're back to up and down SP until FUM actually give us some news, which can't come soon enough.

Good luck, Rentboy. The big SP drop was due to failed phase 3 trials on their erectile dysfunction gel. However, it failed due to the high response from the placebo, which just happened to be their own patented transmission gel, so all is not lost, we hope, as they now intend to get that to market on its own without the previous active ingredient, GTN (which isn't patented).

Sorry to hear you didn't have the courage of your convictions to buy on Monday, Jet7, but you can't go blaming anyone else, except perhaps Hawkhead who was quite specific in his forecast. If you care to read back my posts and hazrat's you'll find that nothing we said would deter anyone from buying. I have only ever advised caution, and FUM is hardly out of the woods yet. You may still have cause to thank Hawkhead and curse the rampers! Regardless of what they're saying now, it's not a sure thing. The recent rise is great to see, but I'll not be banking on anything until we actually get some concrete news. Good luck!

As far as I can see this is just a trader's share unless they put out some meaningful news, and in its absence I will presume there is none. In the meantime we will all squabble about this and that but it's all meaningless, particularly people quoting the science, as FUM have proved that the science baffled them so how do private investors think they know better? Likewise, quoting the rns and the board's spin on the results is also meaningless. The only meaningful thing is the confidence of the investors, and there doesn't appear to be much of that. I must quote something that PATSSV said last night - "... those trials are useful for assessing the effectiveness of the placebo". There speaks a man who clearly has a grip on this!

You and I both know you haven't filtered me. How would you know what I've been saying about you if you had? Besides, what do you have against my opinions? I'm an investor here same as you, I just don't happen to share your unbridled optimism. Still, your choice, I know you don't like to hear bad news. Fingers in your ears, nananana, can't here you!

Hi idg69, glad you're feeling better. It was me who highlighted the possible trouble with high placebo response if applied by a third party, if you recall we talked about Ting Ting, my young Thai bride, who you were hoping would turn up at your birthday weekend! Don't worry about the SP though, I have it on good authority (Formul1187 and many others) that this is a multibagger and will be over 60p by Christmas blah blah blah!

All ST has to do is read a few posts on here then he'll definitely advise his followers to buy, what with all the multibagger forecasts. Or maybe not...

I have to agree with Majorboy. I think we'll be lucky if it stays above 10p. I also don't think ST will endorse this in any way. A lot of people here discussing the science in minor detail but if investors don't have the confidence in the product or announcements by the board then the SP will reflect that.
