Why so obsessed with getting predictions right? You'll find I have never made any predictions about the SP, so you can't possibly be more "right" than me. If you want to gob off with your predictions then carry on. Just bear in mind you have a roughly 50/50 chance of looking foolish. Since the failure of P3 I've looked upon FUM as a binary chance of making me some money, I sincerely hope it will go to 20+, and then multi-bag, but I'm not holding my breath. You do what you like, but spare us your lengthy reasoning as to what the SP will do.

I hope he comes out with some more of those, it seems to swing the SP the opposite way.

Perhaps you should add Ody to your list, baldy. After all, he forecast sub 10p, and mid twenties is closer to the 18p we had last week than 9p (sub 10p) is. Or don't you count predictions about falling SPs?

If you call a 20% fluctuation "largely unchanged", then I guess you'd consider your analysis of the situation correct. Personally, I think that's a pompous exaggeration. Anyway, your original analysis was a drop to sub 10p, which is when you were going to buy in. As you now admit, that's not going to happen, so jog on, Ody.

It was an uncanny precurser of FUM's P3 trial, in that although the subject fared well, so did the placebo, so it failed in exactly the same way. IMM didn't have the balls to try and market the placebo though!

Come off it, Joker! It's advice like that that is the whole reason behind baldy's many posts - don't empty your piggy banks or raid your bank account to buy something as nebulous and mercurial as shares in an AIM small pharma! Worst advice ever! By all means have a punt with money you can afford to lose, and maybe make a bit of dosh, but anyone who bets the farm on FUM is a fool, like I nearly was with IMM. Luckily there were those on the IMM board who advised caution amongst all the andypandys and jokers and I didn't lose everything.

Ody, your new prediction has changed from sub-10p to 14-18p. You have also stated your desire to buy in at sub-10p. As you now don't believe it will drop to that level, I presume you have decided not to invest in FUM*, so you might as well take your useless predictions and go and impress other boards with your scientific expertise and investment skills.

Ody stated on Saturday that there'll be no news before September, and the SP will drop to sub 10p in the near future, so I challenged him to sell his holding and buy back at 10p when it gets down there. He hasn't responded to the challenge, and after today's news it's an even bigger reason for him to sell now, given his confidence in the drop. How about it, Ody?

Ody, why don't you sell your holding (from when you were a student) for 17p, and buy back when they're 10p? Should be a no-brainer for you as you're so confident of the price drop.

The problem might be, then, will the FDA trial actually be big enough? It'll be long enough at 6 months, but will the number of patients be sufficient to trigger similar results to P3? Will FUM be able to afford a big trial or will they cut corners and make it as small as possible? Wouldn't be the first time a small pharma has shot itself in the foot.

Baldy, how come you know how MED3000 works and nobody else does? You said, "The Dermasys mode of action... is based on evaporation..." I believe that was a suggestion of how it might work, yet you're presenting it as fact.

But there were patents on paracetamol initially. It was sold in the US from 1950 to 1959 as RX only, and in '59 became OTC. Baldy, you said that having a patent on the oil in a car, but not on the car itself might be a bad idea, but if you have the patent on something that is essential for other things that work around it, then you're in control, as far as I can see. I think you need to start beating a different drum. How about telling us about the elephant in the room that you keep alluding to?
