Crusader, just because FUM's website uses the term doesn't mean it's the correct term. They have a certain way with words that slants the meaning in their favour, for instance claiming that MED3000 went through clinical trials. Of course, it did, but not as the subject of the trial. Claiming that their ingredients to be GRAS is just a bit more smoke and mirrors. I'm not disputing that the ingredients are safe, just that GRAS is a term used by US Congress to define food additives. It's all there on the FDA website. It may even be true that the GRAS classification has been applied, but it has no relevance to a medical device.
