That's unlike you/ not detailed - you can calculate the cash burn rate (albeit on on slightly aged data), and I think that leaves considerably more than £2m? I haven't looked recently, but previously it looked liked there would be nearer 0.3pps.

If I didn't know you better then I'd suspect that you were still trading AMC and want back in! Good luck, whatever your strategy.

I believe it's too late to transfer your holdings from a UK broker/account now (and think it was impossible to transfer ISA holdings anyhow) - you may be locked in until/if POLY relist in the UK (or other acceptable market for your current broker).

It's a real shame for you as the shares have risen about 70% on the Astana exchange (vs last LSE trades). although on very low volumes.

How did you calculate that the cash left would equate to 0.11p per share?

Although still thin trading, the order book is starting to increase in size (albeit still small) in Astana. If/when news comes out regarding any dividend payments, and likely sale of the Russian assets within 6 months, then I think the market will see more volume.

Overall I’m comfortable with the risk/reward ratio here. Other views?

- the need to list primarily on Kaz is entirely caused by Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine. So not a direct reflection on POLY

- we will see what liquidity (and prices) become achievable on Astana SE over the coming days and weeks - absolutely an unknown and a risk, but let’s see how it plays out

- Having debt is not a bad thing per se (companies that cannot get loans or issue equity are a bigger concern) and Poly has a reasonable proposition to remove all

Morning all

When this restarts trading on Astana where do people think it will be priced given the recent changes:

- mainly sales only of POLY shares for last period on LSE, so of course price has been depressed

- risk of Russia just taking assets significantly reduced

- opportunity to sell the Russian asset AND be able to repatriate the proceeds seems open/fewer restrictions

So I’m hoping for around $3.75-$4.

Please give some info/views on Polymetal (although I feel locked in here until mid Aug). I would add some smiley faces but that’s more for teenagers.

To give balance:

- Russia has failed against its initial war plan

- Russia has sadly lost many many men, and lacks the integrity to be able to admit it

- Russia have repeatedly been caught out as liars like a 5 year old child (anyone fancy a sightseeing trip to Salisbury?)

- Russia will have a leadership change in the near future

Now that’s sorted, does anyone have an informed view on Polymetal post it’s prime listing on the Kaz exchange?

“ Russia has taken control of the Russian subsidiaries of yoghurt maker Danone and beer company Carlsberg”. I think the value of Poly Russia is fully discounted but do you think we are at risk of losing the asset for nothing?

Overall the cash now looks to be £4.5m, worth 0.33p per share; if true then a possible 50% upside (so happy to wait for a liquidation payout later this year, or some miraculous reverse takeover):

- We now know that they had $3.483m (£2.74m) @ Dec 22

- they have the remainder of the mine sale proceeds of $3.3m (£2.6m) @ June 23

- Less cash burn this year (guestimate) $1m (£0.8m) @ June 23

Assume Cable FX rate=1.26

PS there are are other items but insignificant e.g. $40m of accumulated losses that another company could use but being BVI registered I think Corp Tax is currently @0% (and may be limited to just mining companies) so worthless

I’m considering an investment here so trying to assess the key points/risks/red flags from people on here with better info than I

- information flow from BoD is lacking/low respect being shown to the shareholders/owners

- the BoD do have some skin in the game, albeit not huge (and I don’t know if they paid for their shares)

- obtaining a drill has been problematic (basic requirement for an explorer)

- funding the drill lease appears to be an issue

- if the drilling comes up dry then it looks bleak (and boom time if it doesn’t)

- if extra share issues needed to raise more funds then could be massively dilutive based on current SP

Any other key points that made you invest / stay invested?

Just had this response from Interactive Investor - effectively saying I can't transfer my Polymetal holding to them - anyone else get this?

"There are no conversions available for the following asset/assets. These assets must either be sold, with the resulting cash balance transferred or you can exclude the asset from the transfer, and they would be left with your existing provider. We can request this on your behalf.

From my perspective there is the possibility of a good deal that gives more than 0.3p value (that AMC get to vote for/against), else in 3--6 months AMC is delisted with a cash payout of around 0.4p (I hope).

Either way it's worth a £10k flutter at 0.26p (price available today) IMV.
